I have very sensitive, oily and acne prone skin. My dermatologist asked me to start using Sebamed Clear Face Care Gel instead of other face creams. That’s how I was introduced to it.

So as soon as I got this gel, I started using it and it has been a year now. I use it right after I wash my face in the morning and right before I go off to sleep. I just take a pea-sized amount and it covers all my face. That way it is long-lasting.

The consistency of this gel is light and transparent. It gets absorbed into my skin with ease. It does not get greasy nor does it feel heavy. I like the fact that it has no fragrance.

Ever since I started using this gel, my skin looks much better. And the frequency of my breakouts has gone down by 80%. Like I said earlier, I have oily skin and it tends to get shiny within few hours. My skin still gets oily but it remains fresh for at least 4-5 hours, which is great.

The acne on my cheeks has reduced, the redness is lesser and my sensitive skin reacts to this gel positively. Over these months, it is clear how Sebamed Clear Face Care Gel has improved my skin overall.

I am so glad for this gel and I will gladly recommend this to anyone to shares the same problem.

As the seasons change, we should also change the moisturizer we use on our skin. So for the summer season, this year, I chose Sebamed Clear Face Care Gel. My skin type is combination with medium acne. I usually get acne on my chin and forehead. Thankfully, not the big ones but the tiny small red pimples which make me look like I have rashes all the time.

As annoying as it gets, I can’t resist applying tons of foundation. And I do know that will only cause more breakouts, but I also don’t want to look like a tomato all the time.

So, over three months of use and almost running out of Sebamed Clear Face Care Gel, I will say that this is one of the best I have used so far. These months have been the best three months for my skin because it looks better with controlled redness.

Since I still use foundation, I use this gel as a primer and it works very well that way too.

PROS

Light texture

Fragrance-free

CONS

Not for dry skin

Causes breakouts

Causes whiteheads

Not hydrating and moisturizing enough

I got Sebamed Clear Face Care Gel thinking my pimples will be taken care of. But what did I get in return? MORE PIMPLES!

I have dry, sensitive skin so I thought it will work. But after I used it for about two weeks, I started getting more pimples and few whiteheads. It is also not a very effective moisturizer. I still get dry patches after applying. It is definitely not for dry skin.

It’s a light, fragrance-free, colorless moisturizer at a reasonable price that may be great for some but for me, it was not a winner.

This gel moisturizer provides light hydration which is not enough for my dry skin. Regardless, I still use it because it is one of those moisturizers that does not break me out.

I've experienced slight stickiness with this product, but it all depends on how much I am applying. Once I got used to how much I have to use, it worked really well. Since this does not break me out, I use it with a sunblock moisturizer and at night, I use it alone. If you are prone to acne and can't find a moisturizer, this should be your first choice.
