I have always loved the products The Body Shop comes up with. Everything smells wonderful! My first product from TBS was their strawberry lip butter. Ever since then, I have been in love with TBS. I wish I could upgrade my entire self-care routine to TBS products. But the hard truth is, every product is costly. Maybe that’s because of its quality.
Anyway, when I first purchased the Banana Truly Nourishing Shampoo, I was very excited. My reason for choosing this specific shampoo was because of my flat hair and also because of its fragrance. It smells exactly like banana, maybe even better. The consistency though is a little runny which I don’t like very much.
Other than that, every time I use it (which is twice a week), my dry hair feels like it just woke up from the dead.
The fragrance lingers for a long time, and I often get compliments on it. My flat hair becomes voluminous. The texture? Oh my! The softest my hair has ever been. I love this shampoo.
This shampoos from TBS is a must-try!

PROS

Pleasant smell

Cleanses hair and scalp well

CONS

Not suitable for oily hair

I am not very sure how I feel about this shampoo, I mean, it smells amazing, but the shampoo is too rich for my liking. On the bottle, it states that it’s for all hair types. But I don’t think so. It did not suit my oily hair.
Right after washing it, my hair does feel nice and clean. But by the end of the day, my scalp is back to feeling oily at the roots. It took me about a week to realize that this shampoo is not for greasy hair. Stopped using it right after that.

CONS

Contains sulfates

When I went to The Body Shop showroom and shared my hair concern with the sales girl, she recommended me this shampoo. Since then I am using this shampoo only. It has been eight months since then.
I love how it is packaged - very convenient and the open-flip cap shuts securely. I always carry it with me even when I go out of town because I don’t trust any other shampoo anymore. Now, the Banana Truly Nourishing Shampoo has become my all-time favorite shampoo.
My dry hair feels nourished and soft. My hair has only been getting better since the day I started using it. I will recommend it to everyone. It is a must-try shampoo!

No such instances have been recorded. This shampoo has been listed among the best organic shampoos for healthy hair by several websites. However, it contains SLS and parabens, so there might be chances of hair fall. If it causes any adverse reaction, stop using it immediately. Also, if you have naturally voluminous hair, it will be wise to skip this shampoo.
