The body shop tea tree oil is a concentrated, pure and potent formula to fight acne, pimples and blemishes. I got a sample size bottle of it when I purchased the body shop face wash. I tried it on my combination acne prone skin and to my surprise, it worked wonders, it cleared all my acne in a few uses, which nothing else could do. It is made up of 15% pure and concentrated tea tree oil extracted from the tea tree leaves form the foothills of Mount Kenya Hill. It is soothing, healing, reduces acne, pimples, blemish and pimple scars on the skin and unlike other essential oils, it can be applied directly to the skin. You can also use it in other ways like mix a few drops of it in your shampoo to keep dandruff at bay. You can also use it to sterlise your razors to avoid infections, you can add it in your face packs, face wash and even massage oils. You can add it in water and dip your feet to avoid infections and smelly feet. It is a bit expensive but only a small quantity is required so it will last you for a long time. It is completely natural so it may take a small time to show proper results but you will surely notice some difference in the first few uses itself. No side effects have been observed till now.

The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil Range is pretty good for people having acne prone skin. I have tried multiple of products from this range since I do have an reoccurring and aggressive acne problem. While I do love the facial wet wipes from this range, I've experienced some inconvenience with the oil since I have sensitive and if not diluted, it's extremely strong. Also for people who have oily skin or an oily T-zone, it will lead to a greesy feeling. But it does work on acne so only minor complaints.

I have very oily skin since college days, which tends to occasionally breakout, specially during summers when I feel my skin produces more oil inviting more dirt which clogs the pores resulting in pimples and acne. I had read a lot about tea tree oil in skin care of oily skin. I decided to give it a try and I chose the tea tree oil from the body shop as it is a trusted brand. the oil contains 15% concentrated tea tree oil which means it can be used directly on the pimple. The Body Shop claims that it works effectively on acne and blemishes and provides a clear skin within a week of usage. it comes in a green colour bottle with black screw cap which shuts down tightly and prevents spillage. I use a cotton swab 2 to apply the oil my pimples and blemishes. we should avoid using fingertips as it is not suggested for hygiene reasons. it has a mild tingly feeling which fades away in sometime. I apply it 2-3 times in the day and also apply it and leave it overnight. I am so happy to say that it does helps to subside my pimple and control my acne. however I did not see much of a difference in my blemishes. I will say it's a must by for people facing pimple and acne problem.

The Body Shop is one of my favorite brands and I love them. They are natural beauty products which are 100% vegetarian and are against animal testing. I would like to talk about this beautiful tea tree oil. It works beautifully on those skins with blemishes and Acne. This oil has all the purifying properties and when faithfully used gives a clean clean beautiful skin. The oil is 15% tea tree oil concentrate and smoothens your face. Take a few drops of oil on your fingertips and gently massage your face. You may leave it on for a few hours or leave it overnight. After a few hours or the next day wash it off with warm water. The skin feels purified and the acne looks reduced. However, too much application can allow the skin to dry out. so its best to use only a few times a week. I recommend this oil for people prone to acne or people with dull skin.

A premium product for acne and blemishes
4.2/5

PROS

CONS

The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil is a premium product for blemishes and acne. It claims to reduce the dark spots, acne, blemishes with its skin purifying properties. Made of pure and potent composition of community trade organic tea tree oil, this product is quite expensive with some amazing results. There have been mixed reviews of this product and I was not so keen on buying it for myself. Though I suffered from pimples, buying this expensive stuff and if it backfired I would have lost my confidence. I accompanied my friend one day to shop and convinced her to buy The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil for herself just to comprehend the results and buy one for myself. As she was getting married soon, she happily bought it after a convincing marketing gimmick by the lady present at the counter. The packaging was quite sturdy, a small transparent glass bottle with a tight lid. Quite expensive as compared to the size. The oil seemed like an acetone liquid, it was not heavy like an oil, very light weight and she started using it the day she bought it. She had acne and pimples on her face. The moment she applied, she felt a tingling sensation on her face. Just a dab of oil with your finger on the problematic areas is enough to see the desired results. She religiously used it for 15 days and she could see the difference on her skin. The spots started reducing and her skin was getting clearer by the day. She couldn’t thank me enough. It does dry out your skin a bit, but it works wonders for people with combination and oily skin. Just a perfect product to work on the acne and pimples. Also, you need not buy it again and again. Just a single buy and the pimples do not reappear. A highly recommended product for combination and oily skin.

I usually don’t have pimples in plenty on my skin but one odd here and dre . I put it on the pimple itself when m about to sleep and do not put anything else over it (while i apply night cream on rest of my face ) Also in the morning after washing my face ! Usually whenever I wash I put it ! And incase I’m about to apply makeup I dab it well over that pimple . Before I start applying makeup ! With very appearance of anew pimple coming up .. u start using it over the pimple ! But please understand that it is natural oil .. will definitely have different results for different skin ! For me it’s a magic potion !

I heard a lot about the goodness of the tea tree oil but never got the chance to pick any product which has this major ingredient. But someone suggested me to apply this body shop tea tree oil on my acne prone facial skin. Although this was so expensive for me, but for the sake of my facial skin, I thought to give it a try. For a mini bottle, I had to pat 445 INR! Hence, I was expecting a lot from this tea tree oil. But my all expectations along with the money I had spent gone wasted. This product is nothing just claptrap. It does nothing on the skin rather it irritates on some part of the facial area. Its irritation feels like a stinging of a lemon on a fresh wound. Although, if you apply this product on your emerging pimple, then it will not let that pimple grow it does not remove it completely, rather. When pimple goes off, it will leave a black scar. Moreover, this product from the body shop also does not do any kind of good thing for the skin. It is not effective on the blackheads as well, neither it controls extra oil for the skin. In short, I am totally disappointed and will never buy this product again and will never recommend it too.

PROS

CONS

The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil is a naturally sourced and pre-blended to treat blemishes and acne/pimple outbreak on the face. Coming from a reputed hair and skincare products sourcing company, the product can be trusted to apply on the face which is one of the most sensitive and exposed skin parts of the human body. The small bottle has 15% tea-tree oil mentioned on it as the oil may be too strong to use alone on the face. The product is rather slow on pimples though it removes the light stains and blemishes if applied several times in a day.

I am a happy user concerning the relief that tree oil has given me by reducing my pores and thus the breakouts. I even use them as incense by mixing it in lemongrass oil and then keep them in different corners of my house to give a relaxing feeling. I at times have tried using it for my clothes too, so I have added a few drops in my laundry liquid. Thus I can say that tea tree oil is a part of my life now. Recently I am using a tea tree oil that I had bought from Mcleodganj. While a vacation there I had purchased this from a Tibetan shop and it was there with me for quite some time. I took it out for use only when I finished my current supply of tea tree oil from Body Shop. I am yet to buy a new bottle, and this will be my 7th bottle in a row. Body Shop’s Tea Tre Oil I had first purchased for my acne issues, and I must say that from its first use itself I fell in love in with it. The product is of very good quality, and the price too is affordable. Its best feature is that it is an on the spot application product and hence does not need a carrier oil or any other dilution which is what we generally need with essential oils. As the brand claims, it does mattify the skin post-application, and as it controls oil, it does help in breakout control too. Since it is a 100% natural oil, so it does have the goodness that is required to take care of your skin, this product even has skin-soothing and healing properties as I had tried it on my breakouts, which it has taken care of well. I absolutely recommend the use of this product not as a treatment oil only but as preventive support for skin too.

natural extracts

CONS

may take time for effect

The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil is a natural extract of tea tree leaves, as per its label and claims these leaves are harvested manually means by hands only. The oil is rich in natural nutrients. The pack is just like a medicine. The bottle is small and so is the quantity. The consistency is like a thick concentrated oil. You need to apply it to the spots areas of blemishes and dark circles. Honestly speaking I don't suffer from either of these. But I tried it just for my dull skin as it claims to nourish the skin as well. I felt a softness and smoothness after its application. You need to wash face properly with some deep cleansing face wash and after wiping the extra moisture just dispense a small quantity of this oil, apply it on the target areas with a little gentle massage. Some oil will be absorbed and some oil will stay there on your skin. It is perfectly fine. I would suggest you to use it every night before bed as that is the time when our skin repairs itself and it is the best time to nourish the skin deeply. Next morning just wash your face normally like every day. Your work is done, It will add a natural smoothness and glow to your face which it did for me. Till the time I have just used it for 15 days or so, but the skin feels supple and nourished. Though I have a mixed type of skin, still I feel that it will suit every skin type. The one thing which I did not like at all was the price. It is too expensive. So you need to think for a regular and long term usage. But other than that I found no other problem with The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil. Just because of the price I am giving it 3.5 stars.

The Body Shop tea tree oil is a brilliant product. I have heard raving reviews about this product from my friends. My friends use this product very regularly. I was hesitating to buy because it was a little expensive. So one day at the mall, I decided to buy after a small trial. I have using for three weeks now. The body shop tea tree oil is a concentrated liquid. It can be applied on the skin directly. A very little amount of oil is sufficient. It has reduced my acne on a great level. After three weeks of usage, I feel my skin is looking so clear and so beautiful. I would definitely recommend the body shop tea tree oil.

Multipurpose Tea Tree Oil

PROS

Treats Acne and pimples

Reduces old scars

MAkes skin blemish free

No need of adding the carrier oils

CONS

I am using many of the Body Shop Products. I simply love using them. From lip balms to body butter, and shampoos to body wash; they offer everything so perfect. Recently I used their banana shampoo and loved it a lot. I had heard a lot of benefits of Tea Tree Essential oil for skin. But having no prior experience of using any essential oil, I did not dare to try the tea tree essential oil directly. Hence I went for the Tea Tree Oil by The Body Shop which is diluted with other carrier oil in an adequate ration. So this tea tree oil becomes perfectly fine to apply directly on the skin. I have some dark scars of a few acne and pimples I got in the past. So I applied The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil on the scars with the help of a cotton ball for over a week, and the scars became extremely lighter and my skin looks brighter. I do not have an acne prone skin though. Once in a while, I get acne or pimple which leaves a mark behind. And this tea tree oil infused with other carrier oils is something helping me soothe my skin and removing the acne scars which are a bit old now. My niece has an acne prone skin. I asked her to apply the same oil on her acne and pimples directly. IT has helped her a lot. The pimples go away quickly without leaving a mark behind. And it calms down her painful pimples and blisters that she gets frequently. After using it for over two months, she is experiencing a reduction in the pimples and new pimple growth has slowed down a lot. Body shop offers a wide range of personal care and skin care products. The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil is one of such great products offered by them. It is extremely helpful for skin and its health. This bottle of 10 ml costs a little higher but definitely worth the price rather than tolerating the acne and pimples and their ugly scars for years and years.

Led to Breakouts

Extremely sticky

This is a sheer waste of time. I did not find this oil effective at all. It’s extremely slow in doing its job too. So I bought this oil since it claims to remove scars and marks on the face. It came to test when I had this pimple which just erupted on my face annoyingly very close to the day I had to attend a function. I applied the infected area with the oil which felt extremely sticky too. I kept applying this on the pimple for almost 4 days but it did not help in subsiding the pimple at all. Instead it kept growing bigger and bigger and then left an ugly mark on my face. I feel it was a sheer waste of money

Love to have flawless skin without any blemishes or acne?? This product is for. Yes, the Body Shop Tea Tree Oil does wonders on your skin in a weeks time. I have combination skin. This organic tea tree oil product reduces the blemishes and spots definitely. I use this product and I am loving it. My salon stylist suggested this product to me. I use this product continuously when I have any spots until it goes. I also mix it with some face packs and use them. It really does sooth your skin and gives you clear skin. It is really good for oily and acne-prone skin. It reduces the acne too. You need to just take a few drops onto your hands and apply it on the spots or acne. It is really worth trying. It is a tiny bottle and is travel-friendly. It gives results within the next day morning. It dries out the acne and makes the skin dry there. Within one or two days the acne would be gone and you get clear skin in four to five days. This can also be used in the case of itchy scalp. I am happy using this product and would highly recommend this product.

Lightens the Acne spots and Blemishes

Previously, I used many facial oils and lightening serums as I have few acne spots and pimples on my skin. Most of the time a pimple might pop up on my face suddenly. My friend recommended me to use tea tree oil which is considered to be the best solution for acne and pimple troubled skin. I bought Body Shop tea tree oil. Though it is not cost effective, I thought it would definitely show a miraculous result. To my disappointment, it did nothing with my acne spots. It slightly lightened the spots and blemishes but did not really vanish them. It subsided the pimple from emerging on my face till the time I apply the oil directly on pimple prone area. As it is concentrated oil, I experienced a stingy sensation on the applied area which persisted for some time. My skin became dry when applied directly. I suggest this oil to be mixed with olive, argan oil, glycerin or a moisturizer to avoid a stingy sensation. The minty fragrance is a bit hard to smell. For hair, few drops of tea tree oil can be mixed with your routine hair oil or shampoo for therapeutic use. I had to wait anxiously to see the result.

Tea tree oil is considered to reduce pimple and remove blemishes.i had heard raving reviews about the Body Shop tea tree oil but was skeptical considering the price for such a small bottle but just wanted to give a try and it was an impluse buy though he Body Shop Tea-tree oil comes in a tiny glass bottle The bottle is dark green in color, and has a white twist cap. The oil is extremely light weight and non-greasy. It has a very strong smell but doesn’t stay long . It is available in all the body shop stores and online too. It’s priced at Rs 645 for 10 ml. It will go long way if u use rarely just on the zits. I just take a tiny bit and apply on the zits that appears sometimes there is a tingling sensation. But can be manageable. Works well if applied over-night reduces a bit and decreases pain and inflammation caused. I also mix with face packs and moisturizer at times reduces pimples and outbreaks

Tea tree oil is concentrated

Dries out skin

My husband has been dealing with acne for a very long time. I had heard rave reviews about The body shop tea tree oil. Tea tree oil has excellent antibacterial properties that help in fighting facial bacteria. So I did not think twice before purchasing this one for him. The packaging is in a tiny glass bottle. The lid seems to be pretty sturdy as well. It has a pointy tip on the top to help dispense the oil drop by drop. II was quite impressed with the packaging. So this does not seem to be 100% tea tree oil. Use it as a spot treatment and dab a little on the pimple before sleeping. It did dry out his zits faster but did not make it go away. It did not really help with redness or blemishes. It is quite gentle on the skin but does not really do much for the breakouts. The fragrance is amazing and does last long. I believe he needs to use it for a longer period of time to get the desired results. I am sure there are stronger treatments out there in the market that work faster. Since this one dries out the skin it is not meant for dry skin types. For people with oily skin, this might work but would take longer to show the desired results.

I got this Tea Tree oil spot treatment product as a gift. I am acne free before I even received this product so I have to say that I haven't tried it as a spot treatment and can't tell you whether it's effective for that. But I have started derma rolling and the brand advises to sterilize the roller with a dilution of tea tree oil in a water solution so I'm happy I can use this product for another purpose. The Body Shop tea tree oil bottle has a pointy tip built into the neck of the bottle for dispensing the product. The pointy tip drops just a couple of drops of the tea tree oil at a time which is just the perfect amount for me to make the sterilizing solution for the derma roller. It hasn't rusted my roller, nor has it contributed to irritating my skin when I roll. I'm so glad that I have a purpose for this tea tree oil because as I said, I don't break out anymore and would not need it for anti-acne treatment. I found another way to put it to use, to use it in a facial stream/sauna treatment. I mix few drops in water and pour it in a steamer, the stream goes through my skin and it creates a nice sort of sauna treatment for the skin. using this way made the treatment a bit more pleasant and it did feel like it helps to open my pores and purify my skin.
