Let’s be real, there’s nothing more fun than catching a flight and heading to your dream destination. Some people take things up a notch by carrying their favorite pillows on their flight to ensure they’re at the maximum level of comfort. Aamir Khan is one of those people. Die-hard fans of Aamir know that the actor doesn’t travel anywhere without his beloved Takiya. If you’ve ever looked at Aamir’s airport looks, you’ll know that his favorite accessory is his pillow and that nobody can separate him from the same. Recently, the actor was snapped by his Laal Singh Chaddha co-star, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir’s reaction to it was hilarious!

Kareena Kapoor Khan decided to wish Aamir Khan with a surprise post on his birthday. The actress who recently joined the gram was totally up for a mischievous game when she shared a picture of Aamir sleeping in the flight, cozily snuggled up with his face hiding behind a pillow. Kareena strikes a pose next to him and in her typical savage manner she wrote, “My fav co-star has to be @aamirkhan’s … pillow”. Fans were quick to react and many called the post hilarious in the comments section. Aamir himself reposted the picture with the caption, “Aye! Pillow pe mat jaana! Pillow pe mat jaana!!!”
This isn’t the first time the pair have shared some social media love. On Valentine’s Day, Aamir took to Twitter to wish his leading lady a Happy Valentine’s Day. The actor wrote, “#HappyValentinesDay Kareena. I wish I could romance you in every film… comes naturally to me ;-) Love. a.”
The adorable pair have co-starred in three films together (besides Laal Singh Chaddha) and have proved to have great on-screen chemistry. Kareena’s pillow post shows that the two share a super friendly bond and can have a good laugh together. The actress kept her look simple and paired a vibrant saffron dupatta with a pastel kurta while Aamir was seen wearing denims and a basic black t-shirt.
Future Plans
Kareena and Aamir will be seen together in Laal Singh Chadha. The film is a remake of the famous Tom Hanks film, Forrest Gump. In Forrest Gump, Tom Hanks plays a slightly dim-witted boy who despite his lower intellect, lives an adventurous life and meets many new people. His childlike optimism is what makes him such a lovable character and many characters grow very fond of him throughout the duration of the movie. Laal Singh Chadha will be an official remake of the film and is directed by Advait Chauhan. The eagerly-awaited movie is set to be released during Christmas, 2020. Kareena is set to play Aamir’s love interest in the film, Maneela Chadha.
Kareena was last seen in the film, Angrezi Medium. The actress appeared in a small guest role where she played the role of a cop. Angrezi Medium also stars veteran actress Dimple Kapadia and newbie Radhika Manan who plays Irrfan Khan’s daughter in the film. Besides this role, Kareena is set to star in a new Karan Johar film called Takht. The spectacular actress will be co-starring with Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
Aamir, on the other hand, is set to star in another remake film. The Dil Chahta Hai actor will be working in the Hindi remake of Tamil film, Vikram Vedha. His film, Mogul is also expected to release by 2022 and will be directed by Subhash Kapoor of Jolly LLB fame.
Two Decades Of Bebo
Kareena recently celebrated twenty years of working in the film industry and walked the Lakme Fashion Week ramp as a showstopper for couturier Amit Aggarwal. The theme of the event was #BetterIn3D and the entire event was based on the concept of futuristic fashion. When she was asked what it felt like, the actress replied, “I love walking the ramp. Maybe I’m a hidden model. I get to meet such beautiful designers, wear their clothes, feel so special. I like it and I enjoy working with all of them.” Even the designer of her outfit admitted that nobody except Kareena Kapoor could have pulled it off so well. The actress herself admitted that she enjoys Amit’s collection as she believes the colors are very versatile, geometrical and dramatic. She also stated the futuristic vibe of the outfit was her favorite and she truly enjoyed walking the ramp in it.
From Aamir and Kareena’s posts and replies, we know they are best buddies. And it’s nice to see such healthy friendships between actors and actresses, isn’t it?
