She is currently working on three projects: Shubh Mangal Zyada, a Rohit Shetty movie titled ‘Sooryavanshi’ which stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, and the Ashwini Iyer Tiwari directed movie Panga that stars Jassie Gill and Kangana Ranaut.

It’s not hidden that she had a publicized relationship with Vivian Richards, a former cricketer from West Indies. She has a daughter, Masaba Gupta with him. She didn’t marry Vivian Richards and raised her daughter as a single mother. Her daughter who tied the knot with producer Madhu Mantena in 2015, announced their separation in the year 2018, and in April 2019 this year, they announced their decision to divorce each other. When Neena was asked about this, she answered that just like any mother, that this news gave her a shock. She told that she has asked her daughter to think over it and not make a hasty decision.
