He Is My 3 Am Friend: Anushka Shetty Responds To Link Up Rumors With Prabhas

It’s no news that celebrities are constantly under media scrutiny. Apart from getting excited about their movies, a thing that makes every fan curious is the love life of their favorite stars. Who their favorite celebrities are dating, in a relationship with, or are going to marry is a piece of news that takes the media by storm and spreads like wildfire. Celebs are often linked to their co-stars, especially when they have amazing chemistry on-screen. One such celebrity on-screen couple that has constantly been in the public eye is Anushka Shetty and Prabhas. Ever since their megahit movie Baahubali, the two of them have been linked up a lot by the media and fans. They have a sizzling chemistry on-screen and fans are curious to know if that is fueled by an off-screen romance. Despite the co-stars addressing these speculations and constantly denying them, these rumors seem to make the headlines way too often. Recently in an interview, Anushka Shetty was asked about her relationship with Prabhas. She responded saying, “I have known Prabhas for over 15 years now and he is one of my 3 AM friends.” The Baahubali actress said that they are constantly linked together because neither of them is married and they share passionate on-screen chemistry.
The Beginning
The duo rose to fame after they acted in the film Baahubali which was a worldwide hit. The first part of the saga Baahubali: The Beginning was a massive box office hit and made close to Rs. 75 crores on the first day of its release. It was released in 2015 and was critically acclaimed. The SS Rajamouli film captured viewers and left them in a mesmerizing state. Two years later, in 2017, the sequel to the movie was released. Baahubali: The Conclusion garnered millions of fans worldwide and grossed approximately Rs. 100 crores on its opening day. The movies were megahits in the box office and made more than Rs. 1000 crores overall. Apart from being a visual treat to audiences, the movie showcased sizzling chemistry between Anushka Shetty and Prabhas making them the talk of the town.
However, Baahubali was not the first movie that brought this duo together. In 2009, they acted together in the film Billa which was also a box office hit. Fans loved them in this movie too because of their on-screen chemistry. They have shared the screen in four movies so far and they have all performed well. Naturally, fans cannot help but wonder if the rumors about them being together are true or not. However, the duo has denied all rumors multiple times.
In an interview with a popular news agency, Anushka Shetty and Prabhas were asked about the on-going relationship rumors between them. Prabhas responded saying that it is his private life and he does not want to comment on anything. He also said that when he decides to tie the knot, the media will be informed first. During the promotions of one of his movies, there were rumors making rounds that Anushka and he were house hunting in Los Angeles. Refuting these false rumors, he said that they are simply rumors and as actors, they can’t hide in their rooms forever. Prabhas stated that people will recognize them when they step out and if people do not want to believe that nothing is going on between the two of them, he cannot help it.
Never Ending Rumors
In another interview, Prabhas said, “Anushka and I had decided that we’ll never let dating rumors about us do the rounds. We are family friends for nine years.” He humorously added saying that when these rumors make the rounds, he starts to wonder if there is something between them. The Baahubali actor also said, “We know there is nothing between us. Actors are said to have an affair if they star in more than one film together.” Even after making things so clear to the media, the duo is constantly asked about their relationship by the media which gets annoying after a point. That being said, fans cannot help but wonder if this is all a show just to keep the relationship a secret. Who knows for sure? No one except them.
