20 Best Dressed Celebrities At The 73rd Emmy Awards

The 2021 Emmy Awards ended on September 19th in LA and brought with it many fun moments and incredible outfits. Besides the MET Gala and Oscars, celebrities also get to dress up for the Emmy awards as well. During this year’s Emmy Awards, we got to see some stunning looks from Anya-Taylor Joy, Gillian Anderson, Rege-Jean Page, and more. This is the first time in 2 years that the Emmy’s is being celebrated offline, but many cast and production staff chose to attend remotely via video conferencing. Some of the front runners for the Awards were Netflix’s hit series, The Crown and Ted Lasso, which won eight nominations each. So without further ado, let’s go through some of the most unique and exciting Emmy Awards looks this year:

1. Taraji P Henson

The Empire actress made quite the statement in a sizzling long-sleeve number by Elie Saab. Her outfit included silver detail work and a glittery sheer black fabric. The real kicker of her outfit, however, was her choice of shoes. Taraji wore towering platform sandals designed by Sophia Webster that featured stacked round crystal beads and criss crossed straps across her toes.

Jason Sudeikis wore his neat Emmy outfit with a surprising twist. During the red carpet coverage of the event, the We’re The Millers actor told a news reporter that he was wearing socks from the late American rapper, Easy-E’s collection under his striking Tom Ford suit. Jason even pulled up his pant leg to show off the unexpected accessory.

Angela Bassett truly brought a wow factor to the Emmys in a quirky but striking outfit designed by Greta Constantine. She sizzled on the red carpet in the sleek black design that was covered in festive hot pink ruffles. Angela completed her ensemble with diamond drop earrings and elegant black platform heels.

Samara Wiley of Orange Is The New Black fame, channeled her androgynous side in a tailored black pantsuit that featured tiny 3D silver lettering all across. Underneath her buttoned suit jacket, Samara wore a simple collared white shirt and a classic black tie. She completed her look with a spunky asymmetrical curly crop that lay loosely on one side of her face.

Sarah Paulson loves making a fashion statement. The American Horror Story actress wowed the red carpet in her statement-making ruby red dress. The dress featured a plunging neckline, a full skirt, and oversized puffed sleeves. Sarah styled her gorgeous dress with beautiful circular earrings designed by Mateo. The earrings were made from sustainably and ethically sourced diamonds from Botswana.

Dan Levy turned up at the Emmys as a vision in bright blue and a major 90s trend that we all miss: monochromatic color. His dress shirt, pants, and layered wrap blazer all were of the same shade of blue, and he wore platform shoes and kept his signature black glasses.

Annie Murphy of Schitt’s Creek showed up in a chiffon and crepe draped shirt dress designed by Valentino Haute Couture. She also wore unique one-of-a-kind rings and earrings that were embellished with aquamarines from LA-based designer Irene Neuwirth.

The tall, dark and handsome star of Bridgerton wore a striking bespoke Giorgio Armani midnight blue silk evening jacket and modified shown collar. He paired the jacket with a classic pair of evening trousers and a midnight blue evening shirt with a hidden placket. Rege-Jean Page accessorized his outfit with a luxury watch by Longines, Velvet tuxedo slippers by Gianvito Rossi, and an interesting sapphire and gold earring designed by Cathy Waterman.

Elizabeth Olsen rocked a caftan-like gown that was designed by her older sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. She also wore jewelry designed by Chopard and special-dyed Chaka platforms that were created by the luxury shoemaker Stuart Weitzman.

We have to say that Kathryn Hahn had one of the best outfits at the Emmy Awards. She wore a gorgeous strapless jumpsuit by Lanvin. She also wore a diamond and emerald necklace and matching earrings designed by New York estate jewelry Briony Raymond.
