The Descendants stars George Clooney and Shailene Woodley as a pair in a unique father-daughter relationship. George Clooney plays a hapless father who has to take the reins of running the household after his wife suffers a painful injury during a boating accident. Hank Palmer (Robert Downey Jr.) plays the son of a holier-than-thou judge. Although Hank is now a prominent city lawyer, his family still remains unimpressed. Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is not for everyone. It is graphic and can be quite upsetting at times, but it is a must-watch. It follows the story of a nine-year-old boy who loses his father during the twin tower airplane crash of September 11, 2001.

Jeff Garlin and Eddie Murphy play two men who have recently been fired from their jobs and now have to become stay-at-home dads. Due to them being unable to find a job, the two start their own daddy-owned daycare service.

Father of the Bride stars Steve Martin as a hilarious but super controlling father who is having a hard time watching his daughter grow up. His humorous antics are hilarious to watch as he annoys his wife (played by Diane Keaton) and his daughter.
