If you were wondering what your favorite celebrities were up to last night, we’re here to give you all the details. The Star Screen Awards 2019 was on, and all our treasured stars and on-screen characters took to the red carpet to serve us some incredible looks. We totally love watching these award shows mainly due to the awe-inspiring outfits we get to view in them. Here are our picks for some of the most fabulously dressed Bollywood actors we’ve witnessed on the Star Screen red carpet:
1. Ananya Pandey
This Bollywood debutant stole the show in her stunning black and silver Black Swan inspired gown. Designed by fashion designers, Gauri and Nainika, the gown featured a plunging neckline and a frilly, glittery silver skirt to go along with it. The Pati, Patni Aur Woh star accessorized her look with simple earrings. She topped off her look with a cute, messy top knot. We definitely look forward to watching the actress dazzle us some more in the future.
2. Alia Bhatt
The Highway and Dear Zindagi actress stunned the crowd with her simple yet elegant desi look. Her charm and grace only added even more charisma to her Sabyasachi designed saree. Adding a touch of tradition to her look, the actress sported long, dangly jhumkas and kept her makeup simple.
3. Deepika Padukone
Known for her unique desi attires, Deepika chose to take it to another, more western level with her Maleficent-Esque vamp outfit. The actress decided to rock a gorgeous all-black mermaid gown designed by Australia-based Alex Perry. The form-fitting gown featured a cloak on the left shoulder and bared her striking collar bones. Keeping her accessories to a minimum, the Padmavat actress rocked a few rings on both her hands and showed off her newly cut wavy locks. Deepika gave us super fierce vixen vibes with her stunning ensemble, and we would love to see her rock more of these gorgeous outfits.
4. Kartik Aaryan
Bollywood’s latest man-crush, Kartik Aaryan chose to strut his stuff in a dapper navy suit and classy grey bowtie. He styled his hair in a flashy Elvis pompadour and stunned the crowd with his boyish charms and striking gaze. We’d love to see more of him in the upcoming award shows. Considering the hearts he’s been stealing with his latest movies, we won’t be surprised to see him making a regular appearance on many red carpets.
5. Taapsee Pannu
The Pink actress dropped many jaws in her stunning Outline London outfit. A vision in white, the actress, clearly gave us a new definition for the word angelic. The Manmarziyaan starlet sported a bright red lip and gave the early 2000s a nod with her sizeable silver hoop earrings. Featuring a long slit on her right side and rocking classic a pair of white Jimmy Choos, the actress turned on the heat with her sizzling avatar. Styling her hair in long waves, the actress looked like she just took a stroll down the beach right before the show started.
6. Ankita Lokhande
Speaking of beaches, Ankita Lokhande’s dazzling outfit clearly drew inspiration from The Little Mermaid. She was decked in a silvery, fish scale-like skirt and forest land floral fairy-like top. Adding some oomph and volume to her outfit, she styled her gorgeous brown locks in side-swept waves. Ankita added to her beach like appeal by accessorizing it with simple silver jewelry and a strappy pair of sandals.
7. Kriti Sanon
The Bareilly Ki Barfi actress accentuated her flawless figure in a stunning silver Yousef Al Jasmi designed gown. The striking outfit featured hand-embroidered floral motifs, and Kriti accessorized it with bright red lipstick. Keeping her makeup to a minimum, the actress went heavy on her accessories and wore chunky silver rings and a unique geometrical set of earrings.
8. Ayushmann Khurrana
The Vicky Donor actor took his award attire to the next level with this stunning Gaurav Gupta designed piece. The pastel blue colors went hand in hand with the silver floral embroidery imprinted into this outfit. The plain black bow tie added a touch of simplicity to this gorgeous and classy look. Exuding royalty and charm, the actor raked in on the limelight and even received an award. Taking to the gram to show off his award and his outfit, we’re really glad he showcased the striking look to all his favorite fans.
