6 *Ridiculous* Bollywood Rumours That Will Shock You!
Bollywood is truly the fabled land of dreams. How else do you explain the miraculous rise of Shah Rukh Khan from an ordinary citizen to the sharp heights of stardom? Even to this day, he still sits on the Bollywood throne with the title of “Baadshah.”
While changing fortunes, superstardom, love from millions of people might seem like amazing perks of the profession of acting, it’s not without its share of negatives. Wondering what negatives can be there for what seems to be the best job in the world? I am talking about the continued scrutiny of the paparazzi, and the gossip mills that never cease to stop churning rubbish claims.
These rumors and paparazzi pictures sure provide for some masala entertainment to us, but some of them border on pure vitriol and nonsense. Just to give you an idea of how bad it can actually be, we made a compilation of some of the most ridiculous rumors that have been circulated about some of the stars from time to time. 1. That These Two Were Apparently Married To Each Other At One Point Of Time
Though they only did a couple of movies together, it gave rumor mongers enough fodder to churn rumor after rumor without any solid standing. It started with the rumor that K.Jo and Gauri (Shahrukh’s best friend, and his wife, respectively ) were so fed up of the growing intimacy between these two that they asked their filmmaker friends to boycott Priyanka. Another gem that was produced during this time was that the two supposed lovebirds had gotten married in a secret ceremony in Toronto. Talk about tall tales!
2. Priyanka Has Undergone Multiple Plastic Surgeries
As actors, it is their job to keep themselves as healthy and fit and also groom themselves so that they look good on screen. The rumor mills seize on this fact and throwing caution to the wind, often circulate old or taken-at-an-odd-angle pictures claiming modifications done by surgery. One of the victims of this trick was none other than the beauty queen, and our resident desi girl, Priyanka Chopra! It was claimed that Chopra underwent a lot of plastic surgeries to improve her look. Apparently, the fact that both her parents were cosmetic surgeons provided weight to this story.
3. Sonakshi Sinha’s Real Mother Is Her Father’s Old Flame
As I am writing this article, I wonder how much time people actually devote to coming up with these incredible stories that have no grain of truth in them. Next up is this rumor which claimed that Sonakshi Sinha’s real mother is Reena Roy (who was rumored to be dating her father Shatrughan Sinha) because of their close physical resemblance. FYI, this is Reena Roy.
As I said, some people have too much time on their hands, don’t you think?
4. Ajay Devgn And Kajol Are Unhappily Married
Who would worry about a peeping tom, when they have scores of strangers scrutinizing your private, marital life in great detail? I am thinking that’s what must be Ajay Devgn and Kajol’s thought process when they have to face such rubbish rumors. This tall tale claimed that the couple is actually estranged and lead separate lives. And that they are just putting up an act for their public image. Because that’s your first concern when you’re stuck in an unhappy marriage! *cue sarcasm*
5. K.Jo Has A Not-So-Platonic Relationship With Siddharth Malhotra
Karan Johar wouldn’t have imagined that his own life would turn out to be similar to the masala movies that he so proudly makes. But that’s what the rumor mills did. After Karan launched three new faces in his hit movie, Student OfThe Year, people really wanted to know what was the history of these new faces. While Alia and Varun were star kids and already in the public eye, not much was known about Siddharth Malhotra, the third lead of the movie. The gossip that was doing the rounds in the tinsel town stated that Siddharth was in fact in a relationship with K.Jo, and it was because of this alleged relationship, that he got the part.
Needless to say, these rumor mongers really have quite an imagination!
6. And Of Course, Kangana Does Black Magic
It would be wrong to call this a rumor, rather it rests in the category of allegations. Call it a bad breakup for when Kangana broke up with her ex-boyfriend Adhyayan Suman, he did an explosive interview with a media daily where he called her an abusive partner. He even went on to say that Kangana was jealous of his success and because of that she even performed kaalajaadu(black magic) on him. Not stopping at that, he insinuated that she mixed her menstrual blood in his food.
If this doesn’t put you off from dating, then I don’t know what will!
