11 Celebrities Who Refused To Be On Bigg Boss
We’ve all heard of the famous reality show Bigg Boss. The show is packed with drama, politics, wit and a whole lot of entertainment (and by entertainment, we mean fights). Reality TV has a large audience base because of its candidness and unfiltered content which movies and TV shows are often devoid of. The first episode of Bigg Boss aired in 2006 and since then has been a huge success. The show has completed 13 successful seasons so far and over the years we’ve seen celebs gaining more popularity and fame after being participants on the show. However, there have been quite a few stars who have turned down the offer of being a part of the reality show. Here is a list of 11 celebrities who refused to be on Bigg Boss.
- Karan Singh Grover
Television actor and husband of gorgeous Bipasha Basu, Karan Singh Grover was approached for the show but expressed his disinterest to be a part of it. Despite being a participant in many other reality shows, the actor said that he is clear about not wanting to be a part of this particular show and franchise.
- Neha Dhupia
The cool cat actress, Neha Dupia would have made a fun contestant, right? She has what it takes to be on Bigg Boss but the Chup Chup Ke actress said she has no plans of joining the show. Guess we would have to see her fun, witty and cool persona elsewhere.
- Prachi Desai
Cute, charming and beautiful, actress Prachi Desai appeared in several television shows before making her debut in the super hit Bollywood film, Rock On!! in 2008. Bigg Boss fans were excited when rumors about her appearance on the show made the rounds but the actress put the false news to rest and shattered fans’ hearts.
- Rannvijay Singh
Known for his shows Roadies and Splitsvilla, you would think Rannvijay of all people would have loved to be on this show. Turns out, Bigg Boss does not appeal to the host of Roadies and he refused the offer seven times! That’s right, he was approached for being a participant for seven straight years but said he has no time and has too much on his plate to take it up.

If you say you don’t know who Mia Khalifa is, you’re probably lying (wink). There were rumors that the adult film star was going to be a part of the reality show but she outright shut them down by a rather aggressive tweet.
- Shiney Ahuja
The controversial actor who has not been in the limelight ever since his rape accusation was approached for Bigg Boss 8. He refused the offer and also said that it’s time they stop asking him to be a part of the show over and over again.
- Honey Singh
Yo! Wouldn’t it be fun to have a rapper in the house? Honey Singh would have probably added a twist to the fights and made it a rap battle. How fun would that be? But unfortunately, the rapper declined the offer when he was approached for Bigg Boss 6 because he wasn’t happy with the money he was offered.
- Jackie Shroff
When Jackie Shroff was approached for Bigg Boss, he said he has no interest in being a participant but he would like to host the show. This actor has so much swag that we cannot help but think how perfect he would be for the show.
- Kabir Bedi
Kabir Bedi is a well-known actor in Bollywood. He has acted in over 200 movies, including international films. The veteran actor was rumored to be on the reality show but he took to Twitter to rubbish the rumors and did not seem happy with the speculations.
- Uday Chopra
The actor known for his comical characters seems to be the same in real life. Uday Chopra took to Twitter to clarify that he is never going to be on Bigg Boss. It was rather funny but don’t take my word for it, check out what he said.
- Poonam Pandey
The Kingfisher model rose to fame, especially among cricket fans (you know what I’m talking about, wink wink) during the World Cup 2011. She was approached for Bigg Boss 7 but turned down the offer because she was not getting the money she asked for. Apparently, Poonam wanted Rs. 3 crores but was offered Rs. 2.5 crores.
