Both of them were coupled in many movies — Ish Vishq, Life Ho To Aisi, Shikhar, and Vivah. Their onscreen chemistry looked so real that the media peeps declared them as a real couple on their own. However, the truth is that while there was nothing really between them, the onscreen couple never denied the rumors to keep the curiosity alive in order to benefit their movies.
2. Sonakshi Sinha And Shahid Kapoor
Everybody knows that these two were dating before the release of their wacky movie R… Rajkumar. These two even went to the extent of appearing on the Bollywood’s beloved talk show, Koffee With Karan, and answered questions about their alleged link-up. This movie was crucial for Shahid as most of his prior movies were a string of disasters and when this movie did well, the rumors died down slowly.

These two actors made a lovely pair in the movie rendition of ‘2 States’, a famous bestseller written by Chetan Bhagat. During the promotion of this movie, the actors denied that they were dating and that it wasn’t even a possibility. Simultaneously both of them have also admitted that they love kissing each other. What were they even thinking while saying that? Promotion needs to be a hit of course!

At least in this story, Yami and Pulkit didn’t fool around like Alia and Arjun. They openly admitted that the rumors were sparked off only to create a buzz about their movie, Sanam Re. Pulkit even went on to say that the rumors were for the movie and that their team is happy that the promotions are going well because of it.
5. Katrina Kaif And Aditya Roy Kapoor
Katrina Kaif- and Aditya Roy Kapoor-starrer movie, Fitoor, saw promotions getting fast-tracked soon after the rumors about the breakup between Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor sprung up. If the buzz created from the breakup wasn’t enough for the movie’s promotions, rumors of these two co-stars dating began doing rounds after the couple was seen being cute with each other. But hey! Maybe they were cute because they are cute people, right?
6. Aditi Rao Hydari And Farhan Akhtar
These two actors came together for the movie Wazir, which also starred the legendary actor, Amitabh Bachchan. The time when this movie was slated for release was also the time when Farhan had divorced his wife, Adhuna Akhtar, after being together for more than a decade. This divorce news was instantly linked to Aditi’s closeness to Farhan. However, after the movie was released, we all know that there were no off-screen chemistry scenes here. And that currently, Farhan is head over heels in love with his lady, Shibani Dandekar.
