So brushing immediately after eating or drinking is not really good for your teeth. You should wait for at least 30 minutes before brushing your teeth after consuming any food.

If you’re uncertain about the toothpaste to select for your specific gum needs, consider beginning with dry brushing. That is, brushing without toothpaste or water. While it’s possible to overdo it and harm your teeth, the greater risk lies in using improper brushing techniques rather than excessive frequency. More isn’t always better when it comes to brushing. Over-brushing can lead to enamel erosion, resulting in tooth sensitivity. Additionally, teeth may appear more yellow than usual as the underlying yellow dentin becomes more visible due to enamel wear.
