Disha Patani, the Bhaagi 2, actress packs some serious muscle at the gym with her strenuous weight training. Her washboards abs, her perfect curves, and strong muscles are a testimony to her grit. She might be a newbie in the industry, but she has carved a name for herself in the realm of fitness. Disha Patani’s envious hourglass body and her sexy looks are to die for! This Bareily-born young actress has taken the fitness world by storm with her workout regime and powerful flying kicks!

After her debut movie, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, she made quite an impression in the hearts of people. Although she wasn’t a regular on page 3 articles or magazines, she left the netizens drooling when her beach vacation pictures went viral. Well, we don’t blame them, do we?

Now that you’ve indulged in a good couple-of-minutes long session of telling yourself that you want to look like that, let me tell you that Disha Patani’s workout is far from an average day at the gym. Those leg days have got nothing on Disha’s daring stunts. In a recent interview, the fitness freak, whose body looks photoshop-perfect, like it’s carved to perfection, bit by bit, and pumped with muscles, disclosed her fitness regime. (I’m just a picture away from having a girl crush on her) If you’re wondering what goes on in that beautiful body, here’s what you need to know:

What Kickstarts Her Fitness Routine

A typical day for Disha has a combination of cardio and weight training. It’s not the kind of cardio that’s done for 20 minutes at the gym before we lift some weights and click a gazillion pictures. She works out by dancing, kickboxing, doing some acrobatic gymnastic moves, in the morning, and then complements this with weight training during the evenings. If you were to take a page from Disha Patani’s book, it would definitely be the one with weightlifting in it. She is of the opinion that contrary to what most people think, weight lifting doesn’t make one look “manly” or muscular, in fact, it helps to tone down and burn fat faster. Disha feels that weightlifting is key to weight loss.

If there’s one person in the industry who can give Tiger Shroff a run for his money, with action stunts, and killer dance moves, it’s got to be Disha Patani. Look at her charge at the boxing bag, with the perfect, angular flying kick. If you thought she was all about fast-paced, kicks, this self-controlled, calm, handstand, will prove you otherwise.

She strongly feels that at the end of the day, it isn’t about the gender, it’s about an individual’s body. If your body demands weight training, it would help you better in losing fat. It’s a simple rule, you build muscle, and the muscle will do you a solid and burn the fat in your body. That’s a sweet deal, isn’t it?

What She Eats Before And After Workout

Disha Patani says, like most of us, she too, has fallen prey to the bad habit of skipping meals before hitting the gym. More often than not, we all go to the gym with empty stomachs. Turns out, it’s not a good thing to do. Having said that, we are not asking you to gorge on a sumptuous meal, but having something like eggs, or a small meal that consists of protein before you hit the gym. Hear it from the gym buff herself, as she loves to gorge on some eggs before the workout. Soon after she’s done pumping the iron, and getting those abs ready, she grabs a quick meal of protein again. It’s usually eggs, chicken, or paneer. Protein helps in building muscle, burns fat and keeps the body lean.

What’s Does She Carry To The Gym?

Earphones, earphones, and earphones! In addition to the strong willpower, strength, no-nonsense attitude, Disha carries her music with herself to the gym. She is a fan of Bruno Mars and listens to him while working out. Well, imagine her dance to the tunes of The Lazy Song. Now, that’s something! Besides the earphones, she carries a bottle of water to keep herself hydrated through the workout.

Are Shoes Important?

Unless you are Milind Soman, you would definitely need a good pair of shoes for a safe and effective workout. Before you head to the nearest sports store to get yourself a swanky pair of shoes, do a quick analysis of your feet. Do you have flat feet? Or do you have high arches? Disha says that once you figure this out, you can buy something that fits you well, provides you the right amount of cushioning, support, flexibility, and friction. Always make sure that your comfort is the top priority, the style can wait, is what Disha Patani says. The size should neither be too loose nor too tight.

What About Cheat Meals?

In the interview, when Disha was asked if she had any cheat meals, just like most of us, she was quick to say that she absolutely loves to cheat meals. In fact, she confessed that she eagerly waited for cheat meals the entire week. Depending on her diet, shoot schedule, and workout routine, she indulges in her favorite foods and cravings once a week.
That’s not too bad, is it?
