4 Simple DIY Face Masks to Get Perfect Skin This Rainy Season

This face pack ought to keep your acne breakouts at bay this monsoon!

  • Mix 1 tablespoon of sandalwood powder with ½ a teaspoon of turmeric powder.
  • Add a few drops of rose water/water, until a fine paste is made. (Make sure the mixture doesn’t become too runny)
  • Apply this paste onto your face and neck. Leave it on for around 20 minutes or until the paste dries up.
  • Wash your face with cold water and notice an instant improvement in your complexion. 

This face pack can be used 2-3 times a week. 

2. Oatmeal and Egg Face Pack

It is packed with antioxidants and is known for its natural abilities to exfoliate, moisturize and sooth inflamed skin. Eggs are not far behind the race, be it for breakfast or skincare. Egg whites are known to treat oily skin, while also shrinking those stubborn pores.

  • Add 3 tablespoons of oatmeal to one egg white and mix well.
  • Next, add 1 tablespoon of honey and curd each. Mix until a smooth paste is formed.
  • Apply this mix onto your face and leave for about 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, wash the paste off your face and notice the difference.

For best results, this mask must be used 2-3 times a week.

3. Banana Face Pack

Bananas are also rich in antioxidants, making it ideal for revitalizing dry and rough skin. It is often applied topically to control oily skin and to prevent further breakouts.

  • Pick a ripe banana and smash it well.
  • To this pulp, add one tablespoon of honey and lemon each. Mix well.
  • After applying this pack, leave it on for around 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Use lukewarm water to wash it off and see your skin glow from within! 

4. Fuller’s Earth Face Mask

 Fuller’s earthis quite popular for its oil absorbing and antiseptic properties. It is rich in various minerals and is mostly used in its powdered form. Fuller’s earth can also treat scars and improve the elasticity of our skin.

  • Add a few drops of rose water to 2 tablespoons of fuller’s earth and make a smooth paste.
  • Make sure the paste is not too runny, by adjusting the quantity of both the ingredients.
  • Once you acquire a thick paste, spread it evenly on your face. Leave it on for about 20 to 30 minutes, or until it dries completely.
  • Wash it off with lukewarm water, and you can see the improvement in your skin texture.
