Co-stars Turned Life Partners; Fahadh Faasil And Nazriya Nazim’s Love Story Is Straight Out Of A Fairytale

One such couple that has been in the limelight for a while now is our favorite lovebirds in the Malayalam film industry who instantly clicked with each other on the sets of Bangalore Days. Any guesses? That’s right. It is none other than Mollywood’s very own Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim.

The Bangalore Days Love Story

The two of them met on the sets of the movie Bangalore Days and there was an instant connection. In the romantic-comedy film, Fahadh and Nazriya play husband and wife which turned out to be reality by the end of the film. Bangalore Days was one of the biggest hits of the Malayalam film industry. It was a huge commercial success and it even won two Filmfare Awards. Also, Nazriya bagged the Kerala State Award for Best Actress.

While many believe that they had an arranged marriage, several interviews and posts on social media indicate otherwise. In an interview, Fahadh revealed that the beautiful actress proposed to him. During the shoot of the film, they grew fond of each other and comfortable in each other’s company and one day, while they were seated alone between shoots, Nazriya directly popped the question. The actor knew she was the one for him when she said she will take care of him for the rest of their lives. He also shared that his mother was very fond of Nazriya.

A few months before the release of the film, in 2014, Fahadh announced that they were engaged and left fans feeling excited. He put up a long post on Facebook saying that he finally found the woman who is willing to take care of him for the rest of his life. In his post, he wrote that his family loved her so he took a chance with her and fell in love with her. He also wrote that he will be having a traditional wedding unlike what he thought. He added, “I am taking a big step here fellows, and much to my surprise I have agreed to a traditional wedding. I swear this girl has changed me. She is magic. I promise to love Nazriya and take care of her till death and beyond.” Later that year, the lovestruck couple tied the knot.

Partnership In Marriage

After their wedding, Nazriya took a break from acting for about four years. However, during that time she remained quite active on social media and continued to engage her fans with cutesy posts on Instagram. Rumors about her pregnancy surfaced online but the actress took to Instagram to shut it out. She put up pictures of Fahadh and her vacationing together.

There were a lot of rumors that Fahadh stopped her from pursuing acting but In 2018, Nazriya returned to acting and proved the rumors were indeed just rumors. The two of them are the perfect example of a marriage with an equal partnership. They have a dog named Oreo who is going to turn five this month.
