Every year we see many Bollywood couples getting married and it becomes the talk of the town. And if you look back, some of the Bollywood couples have been giving #couplegoals to all of their fans and fellow Bollywood stars. We’re here to talk about one such couple who has been regarded as the cutest and the bubbliest of all the couples that Bollywood has ever witnessed. They were a reel couple and turned themselves into a real couple more than a decade ago. We’re talking about the adorable Jodi of the Deshmukhs — Genelia and Riteish!
Recently just after the eve of Christmas, Genelia took to Instagram to share a video on her Instagram feed. As soon as the post was up, the couple hoarded spotlight and everybody right from their fan following to fellow Bollywood stars, everybody showered their likes and left really sweet comments admiring the duo’s togetherness and “very much in love always” attitude. Genelia’s Christmas Post On Instagram

Genelia put up a video post on Instagram in the Christmas spirit. In the video clip, the actress is seen wearing a white shirt with a grey blazer, and blue denim. Her husband Riteish is oh well, shirtless, and tying a red tie for her. Genelia is seen making cute faces on the video and the background score of the music is the uber-famous Mariah Carey version of the song “All I Want For Christmas Is You”.
She captioned the post as, “It’s never too late to tie a knot❤️ #alliwantforchristmasisyou.” The video went viral and has garnered more than 16,00,000 views and 3000 plus comments. The couple’s fans, as well as their Bollywood well-wishers, showered love for the couple in the comments section of this Instagram post. Genelia, every now and then, does put up something cute about her hubby on her Instagram account. But this one is hands down our favorite.
Even her hubby Riteish shared the same video on his Instagram account later on captioning it as, “#BossLady #MerryChristmas @geneliad #retro #love #KehDuTumhe” (1).
And it wasn’t just them, another couple took to Instagram to share their Christmas spirit and it is none other than our favorite— DeepVeer! Both of them posted very warm pictures of the two hugging.
The couple who recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary are seen very much still in love like they got married a day before.
Genelia And Riteish’s Love Story
For those who don’t know, Riteish and Genelia fell in love when they were shooting their first movie together, Tujhe Meri Kasam in the year 2003. Since then, the couple has been together (touchwood). After having dated each other for almost a decade, they tied the knot in the year 2013 in a Marathi wedding ceremony and at a Christian church wedding.
The couple has been since then known for their cutesy ways of expressing love to each other. Genelia took to motherhood soon after the wedding and they have two sons, Riaan and Rahyl together. While Riteish’s father passed away, Genelia was seen donning the role of the bahu of the house on a serious note and stood as a pillar of support for the entire family.
On the work front, Genelia hasn’t done any Bollywood films off late and is seen being a happy mother to her two children. She’s often seen at various social gatherings and clicked at some charity events. Her last screen appearance was in a Marathi movie, Lai Bhaari in the year 2015 opposite her husband.
Riteish, on the other hand, was last seen in the movie Marjaavaan that was released in November this year. Multi-starrer movies Housefull 4 and Total Dhamaal were his other movies that were released this year. Riteish is often seen juggling between acting in Marathi regional movies and Bollywood movies. While he usually plays comic roles in Bollywood movies, he’s a successful award-winning lead actor in the Marathi film industry. For the coming year 2020, Riteish already has quite a good number of films in his kitty including Baaghi 3 that stars Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor as the leads.
Genelia’s Instagram post is a perfect example of how couples should always keep the fire burning between them. Even after a decade of being together, this couple still looks so adorable and makes heads turn with their lovely gestures towards each other. And in this world, where breakup stories are gaining momentum, such love stories surely do give #couplegoals to each one of us, isn’t it?
