If you live with your partner, s/he will be happy to hear this news: Baring it all in bed is actually good for you. You sleep better when you sleep naked. According to the US National Sleep Foundation, sleeping without any clothes can help you regulate your body temperature (2). Another interesting thing that we should know is that our body cells regenerate at a faster rate when the body temperature is cool. Additionally, when you gave no elastics, zippers, or strings on your body, the blood circulation becomes easy. If you’re still looking for reasons to give the clothes amiss before you hit the sack, sleeping naked increases the intimacy between partners and you’re sure to get a good night’s sleep (3)! It’s not always about the size, guys! Just because your muscles resemble the size of coconuts, it doesn’t mean you can lift Thor’s hammer. Neither can big muscles transform you into Hulk. According to a study that analysed bodybuilders, athletes, and men with basic fitness level, the muscles of bodybuilders exhibited lesser physical strength than men with regular muscles (4) So, instead of taking the steroids route or spending hours together at the gym to build that muscle, focus on your diet and eat a lot of proteins.

Yes! You read that right! Maybe, this is it, we need to break up, Starbucks! Drinking coffee can reduce your breast size, ladies! If you are a coffee addict or you can’t function without coffee, you might want to take a pause and take a good look at your bosom. For all you know, a few months down the line, you might see them shrinking. According to a research published by the British Journal Of Cancer, drinking more than three cups of coffee a day can lead to breast shrinkage (5).

Ladies, don’t fret over your bra size, we have good news for you! Now, you can officially take a back seat and give yourself a break from cleaning. If anybody questions you, show them the study conducted by the scientists in the University of Bergen in Norway (6). The study states that women who have constant exposure to aerosols and nebulizers or other cleaning agents are more likely to have lung issues like Asthma.

Janitors, maids, and women who use chemical based cleaning agents have lung conditions.The damage is so crucial that it can be compared to the lungs that have gone through 20 years of smoking.

An experiment conducted by the Japanese scientists at Nara Medical University analyzed the sleep patterns of 860 elderly people. During the course of the experiment, those who slept in complete darkness had a sound sleep and had no traces of depression. But, on the contrary, the people who had lights on in their room while they tried to slumber away, showed signs of anxiety and depression. One of the scientists found that even the slightest ray of light can disrupt the secretion of the sleep hormone called the melatonin (7). This hormone is active only when darkness prevails. So, the only time darkness is welcome in life is when you need to sleep!

Nope, this is not a suggestion from an old lady who lives with cats! We are not green with envy about your relationship status, but we are just telling you the facts. A study by the Central University of Queensland in Australia proved that people who were married were heavier than the ones who were single (8). This is despite the fact that the couples led a healthy lifestyle that was devoid of any ‘fattening’ habits! Well, it’s simple, people in secure relationships don’t feel the need to impress anyone anymore, and hence they indulge in eating more sugar and fat.
