Baking soda is a natural and gentle ingredient. When you mix it with a little bit of cornstarch and apply the mixture to your underarm area, it helps in keeping your skin dry. And this keeps you smelling fresh all day long. Try this method out just before you are about to get dressed.
2. Try Apple Cider Vinegar.
Apple cider vinegar is another ingredient that helps in getting rid of underarm odor. You can apply it directly. Or, pour a small amount of water in a bowl, add a few drops of lemon juice and a little amount of apple cider vinegar to it. Mix the ingredients well and transfer this mixture to a spray bottle. Before you get dressed up or after you take a bath, spray this mixture on your underarm area. It will keep the odor-causing bacteria at bay. You can also reapply it whenever you wish to.
3. Use Tea Tree Oil.
Tea tree essential oil is a great ingredient to cure all types of skin issues, and underarm odor is one of them. It has been used as an antibacterial and antifungal agent since ages. You can apply it directly to your underarm area. Alternatively, mix tea tree oil with a few drops of rose water. Spray this mixture on your underarms and get rid of that pesky odor in no time. 4. Lemon Juice

6. Use Hydrogen Peroxide.
Hydrogen peroxide is one of the best ways to get rid of underarm odor. Pour a small amount of hydrogen peroxide in a bowl and add a few drops of plain water or rose water to it. Mix both the ingredients well and then transfer this mixture to a spray bottle. Spray it on your underarms after you take a bath.
7. Rub Alum.
Did you know that rubbing alum on your underarm area can eliminate body odor? However, you need to follow the method carefully, because just dry rubbing a piece of alum won’t do! Before you rub it, make sure you soak that piece of alum in water for a few seconds and then use it.
8. Mind What You Eat.
As the old saying goes, you are what you eat. And hence, you emit whatever you eat or drink. This is why you should be thoughtful about what you put in your body. When you have a diet full of spices, onion, or garlic, the same comes out through the pores of your skin. And this smell can last for up to 48 hours (or maybe more, depending on how much you have had).
On the other hand, eating fresh fruits and vegetables can be really helpful in keeping your body fresh and smelling good.
9. Keep Your Body Hydrated.
Keeping your body hydrated and drinking a lot of water is not only great for your overall health but it also keeps your body moisturized. This helps the scents to stick to your body for a longer time.
10. Stop Shaving.
Shaving the armpit area usually creates problems as the skin over there is quite sensitive. When you apply shaving creams or depilatory creams over there, it might cause skin irritation. Moreover, when you use a razor, it aggravates the irritation, allowing the bacteria and germs to grow. The moisture formed due to it causes underarm odor.
