Remember when we chose to chew gum because it looked cool? Then, it was pretty common to spot teens with blown bubble gum on their lips and a skateboard in hand. But now, gums are more than just a device to look dope. They come in numerous flavors and are sugar-free to help you exercise your gums. But this article is not for how amazing chewing gums are; this is for when you mistakenly sit on it, get it stuck onto your clothes, or worse, your hair! Here are some foolproof ways to remove sticky gum without having to chop your hair or dispose of your dress. Read on to learn more about it!

1. Apply Peanut Butter

Yes, it may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you see gum stuck on your belongings, but trust us, it works! Peanut butter has a lot of natural oils, and as a result, the gum will become less sticky and stiff. This technique may be used on any fabric and is also very helpful for removing gum from hair. All you need to do is spread the peanut butter over the gum using your fingertips or a toothbrush. It may not come off in a second, so you must do it patiently. Then, get going on scraping the gum off the top. It may be necessary to wash your hair after removing gum from it.

Hair spray is another God-sent product for removing chewing gum. The most challenging part about gums is that they also stick to your fingers when you try to remove them. The gum may be frozen solid using this procedure, making it simpler to scrape out.

It is also possible to use an upstream source of warmth to warm the region instead of freezing it. For example, the gum may quickly be melted with a hair dryer without risking any damage to the fabric. Peel the gum from the surface just before it melts.
