In a generation where you can interact with people from the ease of your palm, it’s no wonder that certain entertainment moments are going viral. Be it Kangana Ranaut’s fitting reply to nepotism on Koffee With Karan Season 5 or Priya Varrier’s charming wink, here are a few moments that have been engraved into our countries pop culture history:

The British rock band filled with their melodious music and stunned over 70,000 fans with an enthralling performance of the song Channa Mereya from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Chris Martin enthusiastically greeted the song and asked them to put their hands up in the air as he belted out the lyrics in his signature voice. The song then smoothly transitioned into their popular song, Sky Full Of Stars. He also sang Vande Mataram with India’s music mozart A.R. Rahman, giving the audience goosebumps. Besides Coldplay, Demi Lovato, Jay-Z, and The Vamps took to the big stage to perform in 2017.

You’d be lying if you were saying you didn’t sing along to this song with your classmates at some point in time. The year was 2011 and Dhanush’s sonnet about the perils of love had just gone viral. The ‘Tanglish’ song touched the hearts of millions of fans across the country and catapulted the young Tamil actor/singer to stardom. This song broke a record of its own and became the first Indian song to hit more than 100 million views on YouTube.

Not only did the show stir a lot of conversation around controversial theories and hilarious memes, but it also featured Indian actress Indira Verma in a villainous role. The actress received mainstream fame after starring alongside Naveen Richards in Mira Nair’s Kama Sutra: A Tale Of Love.
