Many people tend to assume that only those of an advanced age can suffer from a cardiac arrest. However, as recent times have shown, this is not always the case. Recently a young and super popular actor named Sidharth Shukla passed away due to a cardiac arrest at the young age of 40. His sudden death sent shockwaves across the industry and stunned many of his friends, fans, and colleagues. He was admitted to Cooper Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai, and passed away on September 2nd. Many of his fans and friends took to social media to mourn him and share their thoughts on his life.
Sidharth was popular in Indian television soaps and made his debut on the TV show, Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na. He later starred in Love U Zindagi and Janne Pehchaane Se.. . Ye Ajnabbi. After he acted in Balika Vadhu, Sidharth became a household name and a fan favorite. Many have expressed shocks within the industry. However, Sidharth is one more name on a list of celebrities who lost their lives to heart ailments in an untimely way. So here are seven Indian celebs who had an untimely death at a young age:
1. Aarthi Agarwal
Aarthi Agarwal was a famous actress who made her debut as a child actress at the age of 16 with the film, Paagalpan. She was popular in Telugu cinema and passed away due to a cardiac arrest on June 6th in 2015. Aarthi was just 31 at the time. The young actress had gone through liposuction a month before she suffered a cardiac arrest and had been suffering from breathing problems and several other issues.
2. Raj Kaushal
The passing of Raj Kaushal made several headlines as it was completely unexpected. The famous director, stunt director, and producer was well known for his prolific work in Bollywood during the 90s and 2000s. Raj was married to famous Bollywood actress and television personality, Mandira Bedi. Mandira and Raj share two children together named Vir and Tara. Raj passed away at the age of 50 on June 30th of this year. His death shocked plenty of fans and friends alike.
3. Amit Mistry
Amit Mistry was a popular actor who featured in films, plays, and television. The talented star had also played roles in Bollywood films like Saat Phero Ki Hera Pherie, Shor In The City, and Dafa 420. Most recently, the actor had appeared on the popular OTT show, Bandish Bandits. Unfortunately, Amit passed away at 47 because of a cardiac arrest on April 23rd of this year.
4. Sidharth Shukla
Sidharth Shukla’s untimely demise truly shocked friends and fans alike. The actor met his end on September 2nd of 2021, and left a space in many of his fans’ lives. The actor allegedly popped a pill before he slept the previous night and didn’t wake up the morning of September 2nd. His cause of death is believed to be a cardiac arrest. Sidharth was only 40 years old when he passed on. He had started his career as a model and was known for his work in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Big Boss season 13. Sidharth was the winner of that season. He also starred in Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania in a supporting role.
5. Abir Goswami
Abir Goswami was best known for working in television serials like Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli, Kkusum, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Pyaara Pyaara. He also starred in many popular Bollywood films such as Ugly, Khakee, Lakshya, and The Legend of Bhagat Singh. The actor died at the age of 37 while running on a treadmill in 2013.
6. Sridevi
Sridevi was known for being one of the most influential and finest actors of her generation. The legendary veteran actress had established herself in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu cinema and had nearly 300 films to her credit. However, in February of 2018, she was found lying in a bathtub and pronounced dead. The actress was found in the hotel room of Jumeirah Emirate Tower after she had suffered from a cardiac arrest. Her death sent shockwaves across the globe, and her fans and family mourned her loss. Scores of fans gathered near the entrance of her Mumbai residence to grieve for her.
7. Inder Kumar
Actor Inder Kumar managed to win the hearts of fans after his performances in films like Agnipath, Wanted, Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, and Tumko Bhool Payenge. Unfortunately, the actor met an untimely demise at the age of 44. He was reported to have suffered from a heart attack late at night on July 28th in 2017.
