The survey named “The Philips Global Survey 2019” was an online survey that was conducted by the research team, KJT Group, for the brand, Philips. The surveys took into consideration the sleeping habits and sleep timings of nearly 11,006 humans aged 18 years and above. They studied 12 countries — Australia, India, China, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Germany, France, Japan, Netherlands, Canada, Singapore, the United States (1). The study found that 62 percent of people worldwide felt that they don’t sleep enough or sleep well.

Performance Of Various Countries

  • India took the first place for best sleepers in the world, Saudi Arabia took the second spot and China came third.
  • The worst in this survey was South Korea, and then Japan for their bad sleeping habits.
  • Singapore (61 percent) and Canada (63 percent) were the countries that recorded the highest levels of worry or stress, which impacted their sleep.
