Love him or hate him, there’s no denying that Kartik Aaryan is here, and he is here to stay. The Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor is no stranger to Bollywood. Kartik has been in the business for 9 years now but seems to be a media darling after his latest films, Pati Patni Aur Woh and Love Aaj Kal. His interesting monologues and hilarious expressions are turning him into a fan favorite and he is undeniably racking up the followers. In a live Instagram chat, Kartik Aaryan, a sought after bachelor, is looking to marry a woman just like Deepika Padukone. Spilling Secrets
The actor tuned into a chat with a popular Instagram Bollywood page and answered questions asked to him by his fans. One of the questions posed was, “What type of a girl does Kartik want to marry?”. The actor answered the fan’s question without a second thought and said, “Someone like Deepika Padukone, the way she is. One who shows off her husband proudly.” Deepika and Ranveer are notorious for being each other’s hype queen and king and are all praise of one another on social media. Who wouldn’t want to have a supportive and loving partner like that?
Another fan decided to dig further into the actor’s personal life and quizzed him about his relationship with Janhvi Kapoor. The pair are set to star in the next segment of Dostana and Janhvi is often spotted leaving mischievous comments on his social media post. After this question was posed by the host, Kartik laughed and asked his fans to “do some more research”. He further quashed the rumors by saying, “Agar Janhvi Kapoor jaisi talented ladki meri T-shirt pehnegi toh main toh bohot flattered rahoonga.” And we don’t blame him, who wouldn’t want to be paired with the gorgeous Ghost Stories actress!
Upcoming Projects
The actor is set to star in the film, Dostana 2. The host asked Kartik about any news related to the film and he spoke about how the film shooting had to be cut short due to the ongoing COVID crisis. Kartik said that the film was shot halfway before production shut down and that he really misses being on set and filming. The actor stated that he was dying to shoot the film once again and can’t wait for things to return to normalcy.
Kartik is also set to star in the second chapter of the film Bhool Bhulaiyaa, titled Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film also stars Tabu and Kiara Advani in leading roles and the trailer posters for the film were recently released. This will be a pleasant surprise for so many of us who watched the first film when we were younger. The film is set to be released in October of 2020.
Rumored Cassanova
Even before being rumored to be dating Janhvi Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan made the notorious reputation of being a Bollywood Cassanova. The actor has been linked with both his co-stars, Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Pandey during the shooting of their films and many fans are convinced they’re in a love triangle, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai style.
Sara fuelled rumors further by admitting that she had a “crush” on Kartik Aaryan on a popular television show. The pair were later introduced by Ranveer Singh and then Imtiaz Ali decided to cast them in his film, Love Aaj Kal. During the filming of the movie, the pair were spotted getting close together and many believed they were secretly dating. Fans even nicknamed them as “Sartik”. Despite Ananya Pandey and Kartik Aaryan being spotted out on the town, they’ve denied all rumors of a potential relationship.
In an interview with Kareena Kapoor for her Youtube talk show, What Women Want, the actress decided to place Kartik in the hot seat and ask him personal questions. The Tashan starlet asked the actor who he was dating. Kartik responded with, “I also don’t know what I am doing. Basically, I go on coffee dates, like people normally do. According to the media, with every coffee date, my girlfriend changes.”
As much as we love to hate the actor, he seems to be doing something right as his films perform very well. From his anguished monologue in Pyaar Ka Punchnama to his exasperated monologue in Pati Patni Aur Woh, Kartik seems to know the formula that works best to make it in Bollywood. While the actor may be in the media for his love life, we cannot deny that he truly is a fresh breath of air in an industry that is filled to the brim with Khans and Kapoors.
