Many mothers-in-law actually see their daughters-in-law as their own daughters and treat them the same way if not better. After all, having another woman in the family is a major plus point. Many women treat their daughter-in-laws the way they would treat their daughters, simply because they miss having a daughter in the house or haven’t experienced the joy of having one in the house. Anti-Monster-In-Law
Sameera, who married her longtime boyfriend, Akshay Varde in 2014, shares an amazing and super friendly rapport with his mother, Manjri Varde. On the 2nd of May, Sameera took to her instagram to share a hilarious video from a new lockdown series she has created called, “Sassy Saasu and Messy Mama”. The actress joked about how she lived the diva life before the lockdown began but now that social distancing is a thing, she has had to grab the reins of the household duties. Her loving mother-in-law, on the other hand, is finally getting some much needed rest during this time. Sameera and her mother-in-law get along like a house on fire.
Earlier this year, the actress had shared a hilarious video of her “Sassy Saasu” upstaging her during the “Flip The Switch” challenge by Drake. In the video, we see the pair exchange clothes and expressions and we gotta say, point 1 for “Sassy Saasu”. The actress’s mother-in-law showed off her movies and meme knowledge in this clip. Sameera shared the video with the caption, “When your mother in law steals your thunder. @manjrivarde you were epic! She #flippedtheswitch thank you for being as crazy as I am. Sameera and her family have been over the moon after welcoming their latest member, her daughter named Nyra. Her daughter is almost a year old now and she also shares an older son named Hans with her husband.
Love Amongst Motorcycles
Sameera and her husband Akshay Varde met in a very peculiar manner. The actress and her hubby share a strong passion for motorbikes. That’s right. Sameera Reddy rides a motorbike! The talented actress followed her instincts and signed up to shoot an advertisement that involved bikes. Luckily for the actress, this shoot seemed like destiny falling into place and she met her husband that day. Akshay is the co-owner of a motorcycle company that customizes motorcycles called Vardenchi Motorcycles. According to Akshay, he was starstruck the moment he spotted Sameera riding a motorcycle. Apparently he had never seen a woman handle a bike with the same level of agility and rawness that Sameera displayed. According to Sameera, there was an instant connection between the two and after they started talking, everything seemed to fall into place.
The pair dated for a good two years before they decided to tie the knot officially. Sameera, who is known for being private and doesn’t enjoy attention from the cameras, had a low-key wedding with her. Their wedding was arranged by Sameera’s sister in just under ten days (talk about resourceful relatives)! Sameera enlisted the help of designer Neeta Lulla to design a traditional South Indian style saree for her. The loved up couple often spend time riding their motorcycles together (how adorable!) and in the company of their two children. Sameera and Akshay’s first child, Hans, was born in 2015 and the young parents were overjoyed to welcome him into the world.

Sameera’s love for her babies knows no bounds. The doting mother often shares adorable snaps of her two younguns on Instagram. On the 14th of February, 2020, the actress had shared cute pictures of her two babies, Hans and Nyra. In her caption she had shared that her son had just returned from a father-son trip and that he was over the moon with happiness after he got to see his little sister again. She joked about missing both the men in her life when they went on these father-son trips without her.
When Sameera revealed that she had had a daughter, her fans were overjoyed. The actress had shared an image of herself and her little bundle of joy and spoken up about how much joy she felt having a little girl. She spoke about how she couldn’t believe having a girl child in our country is considered a burden and she hopes that this mentality remains a thing of the past. She also spoke about how she overhears even educated and urban people talk about having their first born be a son. Sameera later added that despite coming from a family of three girls, both her and her sisters have achieved far more than any boy could have.
