Raksha Bandhan is a day to celebrate one of the most special bonds that exist. The bond between a brother and a sister is truly a special one and everyone knows exactly how protective brothers are of their sisters. Although some of us don’t have the privilege of being born with siblings, there are many that keep “Rakhi Brothers”. “Rakhi Brothers” are your close male friends or family that you treat in the same way as you would a real sibling. Many divas celebrate Raksha Bandhan by tying a rakhi to their “Rakhi brothers” as well as their biological brothers. So here are the lesser-known “Rakhi Brothers” of these famous Bollywood ladies:

The Raazi actress is the Rakhi sister of Karan Johar’s little boy, Yash Johar. It’s no secret that Karan and Alia share a very fond relationship with one another. Alia sees Karan as her mentor as he is the director who got her her first movie role in the film, Student Of The Year. Karan Johar became a single father a few years ago through surrogacy and ever since then, Alia has played the role of their “Didi”. Sonu had earlier admitted in an interview that Aishwarya was initially very shy on the sets of Jodhaa Akbar. The pair played siblings in the film and have been celebrating Raksha Bandhan together ever since. According to Sonu, Aishwarya believes that he reminds her of her father. Talk about adorable!
