Domestic violence is a common problem that occurs within Indian society. Whether the marriages are love marriages or arranged, many are plagued with cases of spousal abuse, as in the case of popular television actress Shweta Tiwari and her two marriages. The actress had been married to a man named Raja Chaudhary when she was only 19, but she was allegedly subjected to domestic violence at his hands. The actress, who shared a daughter named Palak Tiwari with Raja Chaudhary, decided to walk away from the abusive marriage and take her daughter with her. The actress didn’t let her abusive past relationship stop her from searching for new love, and soon she met and married television actor Abhinav Kohli. The pair had a son named Reyansh together, and all seemed to be well in the blended family at first. Unfortunately, the actress allegedly faced a similar fate with her second husband. She is currently separated from her second husband. Recently, during an interview, Shweta Tiwari opened up about the impact her failed marriages had on her children.
