Having a balcony in the city is quite the luxury for many of us. For those of us who are lucky enough to have our own balconies, there are many ways you can turn a drab balcony into a beautiful and eco-friendly one. Not all celebrities have large spaces for their balconies, but they have worked with what they’ve got to create a beautiful space for themselves and their families. Even if you don’t have a large balcony, you can always turn your regular compact balcony into a cozy little nook for yourself. It doesn’t have to be too fancy or have that great view, as long as you feel happy and comfortable with it. Here are some of the stunning Bollywood celebrities and their equally stunning balconies:
1. Anushka Sharma
When it comes to being eco-friendly and loving nature, Anushka Sharma is one of the first Bollywood celebrities to enter our list. She is known for her animal advocacy and is also a practicing vegetarian. Anushka shares her gorgeous balcony with her cricket captain husband, Virat Kohli. Their balcony is filled to the brim with plants, and Anushka even refers to her plants as “buddies”. Talk about having a green thumb!
2. Shahid Kapoor
Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Kapoor share a gorgeous balcony space with tonnes of seating areas as well as some pretty blooming plants. The father of two spends a lot of time working out on his balcony with his daughter Misha and often posts videos showcasing his activities. The balcony has rustic detailing and features a stunning view of Mumbai’s vibrant and incredibly beautiful Juhu beach.
3. Twinkle Khanna
Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar’s balcony is super cute and extremely laid-back. The pair have hammocks as well as mini trees on their balcony. Twinkle shared a lovely picture of Akshay playing with their little daughter while she writes on her laptop. In the caption, Twinkle joked about how her next writing spot would be in the bathroom.

The idea of decor that Kareena and Saif share is “everything green,” and their gorgeous balcony proves it! Kareena shared a picture of her husband, Saif Alia Khan, and their son Taimur trying their hands at gardening. Although the space was a little small, the pair seems to make it work and has been well utilized. Their balcony is lined with colorful pots and saplings, and it is perfect for someone who wants to add some green into their life but not go overboard.
5. Hrithik Roshan
Hrithik shared an image of him playing chess with one of his sons on their balcony. The handsome actor showed off his gorgeous sea-facing view as well as his chess skills in the image. His balcony features ample seating space, as well as the gorgeous palm tree view. We cannot get over the impressive view of the afternoon sky.
6. Radhika Madan
The English Medium actress is still riding high on the coattails of her film. Taapsee Pannu flexed her yoga skills and showed off her unique Bohemian wall decor in a post she shared on International Yoga Day. Her masks too were super cool, and she even flaunted some unique and super colorful wall art. We can’t take our eyes off the tribal masks and painted picket fence plant holders that line her wall.

Parineeti opted for a more modest and minimalist approach when it came to designing her balcony. The younger Miss Chopra resides in Khar West and spoke about how she was quarantining alone during the coronavirus lockdown. Her balcony showcased a gorgeous view of Mumbai’s cityscape and contained a small, dedicated corner for her plants as well. The tangerine orange skyline just drives us crazy. Finding an apartment in Mumbai with such a striking view truly is a tough task.
Sure, not all of us have the privilege to afford fancy balconies, but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t still work with what you’ve got.
