And because of this, we think that as long as we carry them with us at all times, we’re going to be safe. But chances are that you might lose your purse and the list along with it. It is safer to memorize all of your passwords. Or If you think you aren’t blessed with that great a memory, then you can also store them in a password protected mobile application on your phone.

2. Documents That Prove Your Identity

Make it a habit to carry just one or two identifying documents along with you. For example, your driver’s license or a state identification card like the Aadhar card. You don’t have to risk losing your original documents by carrying all sorts of government identity proofs like passport, birth certificates, etc. with you at all times. If you ever think that you will need them in future, scan them, and keep them in the cloud or store them on your email. Soft copies of documents are nothing but a boon in this uncertain world.

You don’t have to carry huge amounts of money that can weigh down not just your bag but your mind as well, with the fear of being robbed. And when it comes to your credit or debit cards, take the ones that you use frequently. You don’t have to dump all your cards in your purse and show them off to your friends, and foes.

4. Entire Range Of Your Makeup Collection

Yes, we totally understand how you would want to look lovely and presentable at all times. And you can do this if you’re smart with your makeup. If you know that it’s the red lipstick that goes best with the dress you’re wearing then, carry only red lipstick. You don’t have to carry 8–9 lipsticks. And even if you plan on doing a touch-up, carry your favorite compact or cream, which is your savior. Keep the number of makeup products in your purse as minimal as you can. There are chances that your makeup products might lose their structure on being carried and knocked around in the purse. Make it a point to put them in a separate pouch, and then put the pouch inside your purse.

We all are guilty of shoving old receipts inside our bags. And then at the end of the month, we sit and dig them out to figure where we spent all our money. However, you have to be careful because if someone else gets their hands on them, it can cause tragedies too. What we mean to say is fraud analytics look for pieces of information to create fake transactions. And believe it or not, your receipts are enough for them to do it. Therefore, either destroy your receipts or keep them at home. But never carry them in your bag.

6. Perishable Foods

Most of us lead busy lives. We don’t even get time to eat our meals. In such cases, we often try to carry foods in our purse. You know, to keep our stomachs from growling. But don’t carry foods in your purse that might leak or spill, it will make your purse smell and ruin its fabric. Opt for canned items or simply carry a bag of dry nuts.
