Weddings are fun events (for most people) and they mark the beginning of two beautiful people beginning their journey as family. The food, the colorful decorations, the music, and the lights! They all form integral parts of a wedding. However, none of this is complete without our fun family and friends who take the initiative to make this day the most memorable one for the bride and the groom. If you’re not very fortunate, these people will also make memories for you that you might not want to remember later. The next time you attend a wedding, we urge you to take a look around and try to observe these guests; each one of them is unique in their own way! We thought it might be fun to give you a little heads up and you’ll even get to choose what kind of person you are at weddings!
1. The NoNsy Aunty
This person wants to know everything about everyone and they are better than secret agents when it comes to digging out secrets. The worst part is that they do not shut their mouth even for a single minute and behave like a spoiled gossip girl. And if this person has friends, be ready to run for your life before they gang up on you.
2. The Complaining One
“She could have worn something better….omg, the food sucks!….who plays this kinda music at a wedding?” This is just to sum up the kind of comments you’ll hear from the serial complainer. This person will hardly ever appreciate anything about anyone or the wedding. Well, it’s pretty evident that they are either supremely jealous or just too sad in life.
3. The Bhukkad
Who cares about the bride and groom when there’s bae waiting at the caterer’s section? This person would shake hands and click pictures with the couple in less than a minute and then run to the real reason why they’re attending the wedding. But, can we really blame them?
4. The Dancer Couple
The couple who always practice weeks in advance and come up with their best moves for the wedding events. It doesn’t have to be a romantic couple; siblings, friends, or father and daughter teams can rock the dance floor. These are the people who give us those viral wedding videos on Instagram and we totally love them!
5. The Lone Wolf
This is someone who has no interest in anything that’s going on and was most probably dragged into the event (we feel ya, buddy). You’ll see them sitting somewhere in a corner, far away from the public eye and listening to some good music with their earphones on.
6. The Wedding Broker
No offense, but these are usually those uncles and aunties who have no chill when they meet a single girl/ guy in their 20s. They somehow want to fix people with each other and they are really passionate about this task. We wonder how well they’d be paid if they actually worked as marriage brokers.
7. The Extra One
This person is too extra all the time. Their dressing, the way they talk and walk are all extra and you don’t really know how to react to such people sometimes.
8. The Hot One
This is that one particular cousin/ friend of the bride or the groom whose looks grabs all the attention when they walk into the event. Everyone is mesmerized by their looks and charm and this person becomes the hit of the day!
9. The Drunk Guest
At every wedding that serves alcohol, you’ll see one person who ends up talking non-stop, cry, dance like crazy, or sing as if they were Adele. This drunken guest is very adorable until they fall down or start yelling at someone.
10. The Ladies’ Man
This person has all the women at the event around him. FYI this isn’t really applicable just to men and the person need not be very good looking either. It’s just their natural charisma to attract people and their curiousness that makes them popular at any event.
11. The Shy Kid
Hey, do you want to meet the bride and groom? *shy smiles* Hey, do you want to dance? *shy smile* Hey, do you want to have some ice cream? *shy smile* Although these people are really cute sometimes, we wish they’d enjoy the event.
12. The Unpaid Manager
This is usually the bride/ groom’s dad, brother, aunt, or a best friend. You’ll see this person multi-tasking like a ninja, jumping from one place to another, handling everything there is in the wedding house. They love organizing stuff or there probably aren’t many others who can handle the tasks related to the event.
13. The Richie Rich
When all of us arrive in Hyundais or Hondas, this person comes in a Jag or a Lamb. They look like a celebrity with sometimes P.A.s accompanying them. They are constantly on calls talking to Rome or New York, busy with their business talks even at a wedding.
