This can be considered as a good thing as it signals that more people have become health and fitness conscious. And when you have such different people with different workout styles coming together in a gym, you feel like you’re a part of this amazing microcosm of the real world. All of them have just one common goal here – to shed those extra kilos and get fitter, by hook or by crook.

You might have also joined a gym, but it’s quite possible that the reason for you being a regular gym-goer could be that hot stud who works out right opposite to you. You swoon over his hotness as you watch his muscles move while he lifts those heavyweights, right? You don’t have to be embarrassed to admit it. Most people in your shoes must have said “I feel you” in their heads right now. Any guesses why these people step into a gym for the first time? New year resolutions of course! True, we all need to start from somewhere, but this person mostly has no clue as to how to walk on a treadmill forget about knowing how to do a plank correctly. But, you know one fine day they’ll get it right and get the hang of it (only if they turn up every day). Until then, we find this sadistic pleasure (evil laugh) in watching them struggle and reminiscing about our first day at the gym.

This person takes pride in sending the quickest replies to messages on his/her phone. And we bet they are the kind of people who can do more than just that. You can catch them hopping onto Instagram posting a quick Boomerang of them working out while listening to their favorite podcast. And they are doing all of it in less than the time you’re taking to finish your first rep of squats.

3. The Lady Who Can Lift

Off late we’ve come across women who take weight lifting and gym training more seriously than the guys. And we really hope that this trend will only continue from here on. Your jaw will drop when you watch this lady lift those weights which even the guys aren’t able to. Her confidence inspires and intimidates you at the same time. But, hey, we promise, she has a much nicer side apart from her serious gym face (just make sure you don’t ever interrupt her during her sets).

Technically, they are two different people alright, but when in the gym they operate as a single happy unit. They give every gym fanatic around them some serious relationship goals. They can be called the “fit couple.” You’ll never find them working out alone. They are always together, cheering each other while working out and encouraging each other to raise the bar a bit higher.

You are always wondering how her hair and makeup is so neatly done. You wonder even more when you notice that she never seems to sweat, even while working out – she only glows. Whereas when you look at yourself in the gym mirror, you resemble a sweating pig in your gym shorts. And every single day you watch her working out, still looking glamorous. In your head, you always feel like walking up to her and asking, “Yo babe! How do you even manage to do this?”

Sure, all the sounds might distract you from your workout regime. But, he’s just doing what keeps him going in the gym. Besides, he’s the kind of person who’ll help you push your car to the nearest gas station if you ever run out of gas.
