7 Uses For Apple Cider Vinegar That Can Make Your Life Easier

Also dubbed as “sweet cider,” this Pinterest-famous kitchen essential is basically vinegar derived from the double fermentation of apples. If Newton could discover gravity with the fall of an apple, we, the normal people, could easily discover apple cider vinegar from unattended wine, right? Yes, that’s exactly how it happened. Jugs of wine that were left uncovered for a long time lead to the discovery of apple cider vinegar. And this accidental non-alcoholic beverage boasts of a wide range of purposes.

Apple cider vinegar (also known as ACV) is a health miracle in a bottle that everyone is talking about. It’s probably one of those things you can carry in your survival kit. Got dandruff? Use ACV. Do you want to lose weight? Use A… oh, you get it, right? We’re just saying that ACV is the magical remedy for an array of things, and you can find it right in your pantry!

So, What Makes Apple Cider Vinegar So Special?

Let’s take a deep breath before we tell you what apple cider vinegar consists of. It has vitamins C, B1, B2, and B6. Additionally, it also possesses biotin, calcium, iron, magnesium, sodium, phosphorous, and significant quantities of citric acid and acetic acid (1). This is what we call a chota packet, bada dhamaka. No wonder this was used as a remedy ever since the days of Hippocrates! Apparently, ACV was a doctor’s best friend to treat wounds (2).

Apple cider vinegar has some antibacterial properties that help in keeping the acne under control.
