Everybody knows that turmeric is one of the most popular spices used in do-it-yourself skincare. You will see it in recipes for face masks, scrubs, hair packs, and more. This mixture is also a miraculous solution to getting rid of the yellow stains caused by turmeric powder. All you need to do is mix some lemon juice with equal parts sugar and gently use this solution to scrub your face. Rinse off the mixture with some cold water.

First, you need to ensure that you do not directly wash your haldi-covered face in water. Instead, grab a cotton ball or pad and use warm olive oil or coconut oil over the area. Once that process has been completed, wash your face with water. Both of these oils are incredibly beneficial in their own unique ways. Coconut oil is a natural makeup remover, and olive oil is an intense moisturizer. All you really need to do is warm two tablespoons of coconut or olive oil in a microwave for about ten to fifteen seconds. Once the oil is warm enough, massage it into your skin in circular motions for a minute or so. Make sure that you’ve let the oil sit on top of your skin for at least thirty seconds. Then take a cotton pad and use it to wipe off all the oil from your skin. Once you’ve done that. Go get your regular cleanser and wash your face — pat dry with a towel.

3. Use A Cotton Pad Dipped In Milk

Milk can work as a brilliant toner and cleaner. It is also a natural moisturizer and acts as a hydration booster for those with dry skin. You need to first soak a cloth in a bowl of raw milk. Then you need to wring out any excess milk from the cloth and use it to rub your skin in circular motions. Once all of this is done, you just need to rinse your face with some water and your regular cleanser.

This combination works because honey will help brighten your complexion, while lemon will help get rid of the turmeric stains. Mix one tablespoon of honey with around two or three drops of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Apply this mask over your face and leave it for about ten to fifteen minutes. Once this is done, wipe the face mask off with a warm washcloth. This is one of the most accurate and surefire ways to get rid of haldi stains.
