There are plenty of people out there who believe that wearing a saree is restrictive and doesn’t allow women the mobility to perform feats of athleticism. However, this isn’t always the case. There are plenty of things that you can do while wearing a saree. The only thing that matters is the way you drape the saree and the material you use. You can’t expect to do yoga stretches in a Tussar silk saree, as that will ruin the fabric. However, there are plenty of women out there who prove to the world that they can perform insane feats in their sarees. Many of her students have gone on to become incredibly successful fighters themselves and teach the art to the younger generation.
