How often do you think women get slut-shamed or body-shamed? The answer — disturbingly often. Even now, while you are reading this article, someone with a mind as narrow as a hair strand would be insulting a woman based on the way she looks or the clothes she wears. And since social media is a convenient way to say whatever that comes to your mind without taking responsibility for your words, sanskari critics are using it to their advantage. Body shaming and slut-shaming have become so common that people mostly ignore such comments these days. Because trying to reason with the social media moral police is not the best use of anybody’s time.

When it comes to slut-shaming, celebrities are the people who are often targeted the most because they are popular and their profiles are public. While some of them choose to stay mum and endure all the insults, a few others stand up for themselves and react against the vulgar judgments. In this article, we will introduce you to 9 women celebrities who were mercilessly shamed on social media for the way they looked/ dressed. Read on to know more.
