Sushmita Sen has always been a trailblazer and well ahead of her time. She bagged two major pageant crowns before she even turned 20. By the time she turned 25, she made the bold decision of adopting her first baby as a single mother. Sushmita has always done things differently and her incredible skills as an actress have only proved her talent in the entertainment industry. 1. Consistency Is Key
Sushmita isn’t your regular gym lover, she is someone who lives and breathes through her exercise routine. Unfortunately for her, she struggles with a lifelong autoimmune disease. However, despite this, we see Sushmita staying active and following a healthy exercise regimen. Despite being a busy mother of two, Sushmita manages to follow her exercise routine every day. And her toned and incredible figure speaks the wonders of her routine!
2. Learn Something New Every Now And Then
While working out in general is a great move, it’s important to switch things up and try something new everyday. The Main Hoon Na actress is a huge fan of calisthenics, yoga, and dancing (especially with her kids). Every once in a while you should throw yourself a challenge to get you out of a rut or a routine. While it is okay to let loose every now and then and have one or two cheat days per week, it is not okay to go overboard and binge eat junk food till the point where you feel extremely sick. While Sushmita works out for nearly two hours everyday, she also follows a steady and balanced diet of fish, lean meat, and tonnes of greens. It is also important for her to drink an adequate amount of water.

Since her schedule is so busy, Sushmita knows that being consistent with her skincare is extremely important. Although she has to travel a lot for work, she ensures that she doesn’t skip out on taking care of her skin. During an interview, she spoke about how due to the nature of her work, her skin is exposed to a lot of pollutants and can get damaged due to the amount of makeup she has to use. She advised her fans to stay hydrated, get an adequate amount of sleep, use sun protections and wear makeup that enhances your natural beauty rather than covering it up.
6. Trimming Your Hair Will Help It Stay Healthy
Sushmita is often seen wearing her hair at a medium length and she attributes her gorgeous locks to regular hair trims. While trimming off your split ends will not help your hair grow faster, it will definitely help you avoid frizz and can even prevent hair breakage to a certain extent. This will in turn make your hair look shiny, and super thick.
7. A Subtle Pinch Of Mascara Can Elevate Your Look
If you are someone who wants to have the uber dramatic thick lash effect, then you should definitely consider using falsies. But if you’re someone who prefers keeping things a little subtle, just stick to applying two to three coats of mascara on your eyelashes instead.
8. Blush Can Help Brighten Your Skin
If you’re someone who is blessed with high cheekbones like Sushmita is, then you should definitely consider highlighting them by using something called the “draping method”. This method involves brushing the blush from the temples of your forehead to the apple of your cheeks in a number “3” motion. It’s a great way to highlight all the right areas without looking like your blushing a little too much.
