Skincare Tips
We love a refreshing swim to beat the heat. But chlorine in the pool does a lot of damage to the skin.
All you need to do is to upgrade your post-swim skincare to protect your skin.
Always take a fresh water shower after a swim to wash off the chlorine from your body.
Skin needs to cope after the chlorine is washed off. Use only water to rinse or a gentle cleanser if needed.
Use a concentrated body lotion or cream to restore the hydration.
For parts that you don’t moisturize, like the nape of your neck and armpits, talc can help dry off quickly and absorb residue.
To avoid skin allergies or rashes, make sure you keep your swim gear clean and pristine.
Post swimming, if you plan to remain outdoors or it is still daytime, apply sunscreen for protection.
