7 Amazing Homemade Hair Oils For Gray Hair September 19, 2017

Discovering your first gray hair can be almost as intense as dealing with heartbreak. Your life seems to slow down around you as you stare at that first white strand of hair that sprouted out where a beautiful colored one used to sit. All the good hair memories you’ve had start to flash before your eyes and you feel a gut wrenching pain because you believe they’re all over. “This might be the start of the end,” you think. The future seems daunting, all of the salon appointments and touch ups that await you, you don’t know if you can do it alone. You wish you could turn back time and return to the good times, the memories of which are now too painful to relive.

You might think that I’m being a tad too dramatic but, trust me; the pain is real. Dealing with grays is something all of us will have to do eventually. I would like to believe I’ll be one of those women, like Helen Mirren or Jamie Lee Curtis, who graciously embrace the transition but that’s hard to do when the grays start to hit you when you’re only in your 20s. I think I speak for everyone when I say I would like to live at least a third of my life with a head free of grays. So if you want to slow down the graying process and treat your hair to some homemade TLC, I’ve compiled a list of 7 excellent homemade hair oils that can help you eliminate gray hair naturally.
