Revlon has been one of the most celebrated makeup brands ever. Their lipsticks shades have graced the likes of yesteryear stars like Audrey Hepburn, Cindy Crawford to Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba and Emma Stone. Revlon was responsible for the quintessential red lipstick, Fire and Ice to one of the most unusual lipsticks like the Lime Green Conga Lime, introduced back in 1970s.
Since Revlon has been around for so many years, it has been responsible for a lot of cult classic makeup trends. Here I am giving you a rundown of some of the best vintage lipstick shades ever to come out from this company.

Revlon vintage lipsticks
10. Revlon Toast of New York:
This brown lipstick worn by Cindy Crawford was the talk of the town and one of the most popular revlon vintage lipstick of the nineties.
9. Revlon Wine with Everything:
The win stained lips were a cult classic a couple of years ago, and this was the go to choice of the vintage revlon lipstick colours at that time. This is still a very popular choice because of the fact that it can be worn by almost women all ages.

8. Revlon Rum Raisin:
The whole brown lips were a major thing during the 1990s in India. Our favourite celebs like Rani Mukherjee and Karishma Kapoor loved to slather on shades that looked like this, and still we often find women who went through their adolescence at that time sporting these lips. Even though, we don’t like to admit it, this shade of brown actually suits Indian skintones a lot better than a lot of other shades that we often see.

7. Revlon Stormy Pink:
The Revlon Matte range is just right since it is not too dry and not too creamy. The shade Stormy pink is a medium warm shade that is highly versatile and just might look good on most people. Quick Fact: this shade has been around since the 1950s, it was released back then and is still in production.

6. Revlon Really Red:
Do you yearn for that true reddish snow white or those very retro looking lips? Then this is what you have been searching for your whole life. It is a very apt dupe for the much loved MAC Ruby Woo, but this shade came out a long time before Ruby Woo did. The only down side is that, this is the most common red shade available these days, the scarlet red.
Quick Fact: This shade is used by the Makeup artists of the AMC show Madmen!!
5. Revlon Kiss Me Coral:
No girl’s vanity is complete without the perfect coral/peach lipstick shade. This shade comes right in that category. It is not too red, not too orange, but the perfect combination of both to give the true coral shade. Since this shade is in the super lustrous range, it is creamy without being too creamy and doesn’t make your lips look lopsided in flash photography. It is not a neon coral either, but just a natural flattering coral that can give your face an instant pick me up even when worn as a simple tint without any other makeup on.
4. Revlon Pink in the Afternoon:
“Hand me my purse, will you, darling? A girl can’t read that sort of thing without her lipstick.”
Revlon’s “Pink in the Afternoon” is a perfect dupe for this lipstick colour that Audrey Hepburn wears in this shot. Another warm toned pink, Pink in the afternoon will look extremely gorgeous on women with fairer skin tone, but it might look like a rosy pink on warmer skin tone.
3. Revlon Black Cherry:
The vampy lips were a thing of the 90s and are expected to be the thing for fall 2013. Being a much wearable dupe of the MAC crowd favorite Media, Black cherry is very suitable for this purpose. It has undertones of pinks and purples to flatter almost all skin tones.
2. Revlon Cherries in the snow:
This shade is one of the most celebrated lipsticks from Revlon and is still in production making it one of the “Vintage” Revlon shades. It is a red with a strong pinkish undertone but people often say that it is a blue based red, which it is NOT!!
1. Revlon Fire and Ice:
This shade is another Vintage Revlon shade. It is a true red. Nothing else, just pure red. But that is the drawback of this colour too. It is too red for normal people, only some people who are bold and have the right skin tone can totally pull this off.
